Happy weekend all!
Just giving a general update on the behind the scenes and what to expect.
So, in short, I dislike the various art styles floating around in the scenes. Nadia's route in particular has been plagued with it as I tried out few different support artists. With things more settled, I'm going back and redoing these again so it's consistent in approach.
Whilst doing this, it also gave me an opportunity to have a rethink on Nadia's corruption route and how it could be improved. In that, someone like her shouldn't get off nearly that easily. So she's going to get what she deserves before that strong will of hers breaks!
Therefore, this means Nadia is taking up the priority at the moment. The intent is to get her route polished up and signed off for Act 1 (ASAP) , instead of doing what I really want to do and add more of the fun characters I've got bubbling up in my head and concept sheets...
Why do this?
Well, much like the reason for the recent UI changes, I want Cabin Cruise to appear more professional and put together, and less like a collection of concepts.
Having said all that, I'm also working on the below extras at the same time;
- Start of Lina's story with a new minigame
- Built in language translations (Let me know if you have any preference)
