"Moments"

While doing convention prep, an idea came to me. I wanted to make a design for a sticker I could give away, something small but would have some meaning behind it. I'd been watching a lot of clips from various tattoo shows, and seeing imagery of an hour glass made me think of the time we've lost these past few years. Plagued by the virus and by many other hardships, I really feel like we could all just use a moment. So, these are Moments. Anyone who needs to take a moment to breath, to think, to relax, to grieve, and to just have fun can take one. All someone needs to do to get this free sticker from me is simply say "I need a Moment" or "Can I have a Moment?" and I'll give you one.

I wanted to show the design process I went through to get here, because I did a few iterations before I settled on the final design there at the bottom. Sometimes it'll happen like this, where I'll go through the sketching process and do the line work, and it just won't feel right. So, I did a few more sketches, and I think the final piece has the dynamic look I was searching for. Enjoy this little bit of behind the scenes work!
