Progress Report

I figured I'd let Aviva hand out the progress report this week, hopefully you don't mind. You haven't met her yet, but she will be introduced in Chapter 2.

Just a reminder, this is Chapter 1 Part 1 that I am currently on.

I'm not done working on the project for the week, but I don't imagine a whole lot more will be completed. As of now, here is where we stand percentage-wise. *estimates

Script = 55%

CG's = 40%

Animations = 30%

Coding = 0%

PNG / Sprites = 0%

Some things to keep in mind about this chapter: there will be a branching path that remerges at the end. We will also end this part before meeting your Sister-in-Law (Succubus), so I just wanted to temper your expectations. The Succubus Chapter will take up all of Chapter One Part Two. Overall, I'd say we are looking good! Which brings us to....

Release Date "GOAL"

My plan for this update is to release on the first Friday of October, which is 10/03/25 at 3 pm CT in place of my normal weekly update. We will instead have our first update release. Remember that this update will really just finish up what the demo started. So, Episode One Part One will be finished. I imagine, based on the script, the content drop will be similar to the demo's length.

I will then attempt to do subsequent releases on the first Friday of the following months. That being said, if I feel early on in November that I simply can't get Chapter One Part Two finished in time. I'll poll everyone on whether they just want me to split Chapter One into three parts so I'm able to release, or move to a 6-week release schedule. Ideally, I'd like to release every 4-5 weeks, depending on the month, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Game Structure Poll and Current Plan

Alright, you voted (includes Patreon votes), and it seems the winner is actually what I've been leaning toward development-wise. Which is "Minor Dialogue Options Eventually Branching into Different Endings (Moderate Development Time)". Although the vote was very close.

When I came up with the very rough outline in my head, I kind of thought of it like how Cyberpunk handled branching paths, or at least how I remember it being handled. I haven't played it since 2020.

I intend for the chapters to have their own individual routes, like an A and a B. Sort of like an alternate way to get to the end, but you start and end each chapter in the same place. The whole chapter wouldn't have an A or B side, just a section of it. That way, as a player, you are influencing and seeing something different, but I'm not having to devote time to rewriting each chapter 2-4 times as I would on an entirely different route. This is also my first visual novel game, so I don't want to break my brain. These Choices could also tally points to help determine Endings.

So, in my very rough outline, I've sort of thought of this game as a TV season script, so it would end at around Episode 13 or something. So, at Episode let's say 11, the game will actually officially branch off into a point of no return, like with Cyberpunk. It's from here that the decisions you have already made will put you on a certain path, and the game will actually branch into, let's say, three paths. And then these three paths might each have two endings depending on the choices made on the path, totalling 6 endings.

This would mean that development time would not increase significantly until we hit Episode 11. Which, let's be honest, is multiple years away. Also, I could completely change my mind before them, but as of now, that's kind of what I'm working with.

Oh, and let's say I do finally finish the game, I would then ask you guys if you want me to work on something else or script out a Season 2. If we did a Season 2, I would have to reveal the ending I'd be using moving forward. I like to think that they're all canonical, but obviously, I can't start a Season 2 on 3-6 different routes. The variations would be too intense.

I have edited the tiers with different rewards. I tried to come up with something that is at least manageable and won't really take much time away from development. Obviously, if you guys later on feel like I am wasting too much time, then we will switch over to mostly just doing different levels of Early Access as the rewards.

Free Tier - 24-hour early access to the game before I post on itchio. This will extend in length, and eventually, members will be an entire Chapter ahead. As well as Access to Censored Teasers and Weekly Post Updates.

🌙 Whispers of the Night - Extra Benefit is Uncensored Teaser Images

🕸️ Ensnared Devotee - Extra Benefit is Exclusive High Resolution Wallpapers, NSFW and (mostly) SFW version. The images will not be found in the game and will have one accompanying Animation. It will be based around the Holiday or the Current Chapter I'm working on. So, October will be Ava as a Vampire themed for Halloween.

🔥 Bound to Her Will - Extra Benefit is the What-If Scene Raffle (described at bottom)

🗝️ The Enchantress' Secret - Extra Benefit is, let's say I get Chapter One Part One finished on 09/28/25, I will just drop it, which would end up being 6 days early! Obviously, you may wonder why I don't just release for everyone, but I kind of need to get a bit ahead in development, so I'm not time crunching every update. So, the only downside would be that in this tier, you could have to wait longer per update because if I release real early one update, but then right on time the next update, you will have waited longer.

🩸 Marked by Her Touch - This tier reward is a bit unique. Basically, I will allow you to craft the fourth wall break scene like what you saw at the end of the demo. That way, the Succubus will actually visit you or whatever name you want me to have her say. Just a first name or nickname you want her to use, and then however you want the scene to play out. So, I guess you could say I want the Succubus to visit "John" at the end of the Chapter and be very dominant, leaning into humiliation, because I want John to have a small member, and I want her to Titty Fuck it and compare it to one of greater size. The scene will be 15-30 seconds long total. If more than one person were to be subscribed, I'd probably have to turn it into a raffle.

What-If Raffle

Alright, so this will work similarly to other Subscribe Star, of which I'm sure you have seen similar rewards. The major difference is that this will actually be a complete scene. I will allow the following...

Max 500 words

2-5 Cg's (depends on what I feel is needed)

At least One Animation (more if I have time or like the scene)

PNG sprites for whatever characters are involved

You are allowed to be as detailed or vague as you like when describing what your thoughts are in a DM I'll send you should you win. You can literally write the whole scene out if you want, and I'll just edit anything I feel is way out of character or to keep it more in line with how I write the characters. Or you can be super vague, and I'll take the liberty of coming up with something. You can use whatever characters you want. All I ask is that you DO NOT suggest anything that could break Subscribe Star's Terms of Service or the Law (obviously).

One vague example you give me could be...

I want Ava to find a gloryhole in a bathroom and slowly warm up to the idea of using it once a huge BBC is shoved through it.

Once again, the FIRST PERSON to subscribe to any tier above Whispers of Night will automatically win the Chapter One Raffle.

Also, keep in mind that I will only do one raffle per Chapter unless we are in a long 3-4 part or above Chapter.
