Meet Jack McConnell AKA Wormwood the Jester: Juggler, bartender, enabler, and the worst buddy a sweetie like Stanley can have. He'll listen to their problems, but he won't really care. He'll encourage all that's worst in Stanley, while blaming them for their own pain. He plies Stanley with drinks, worsening their alcoholism and actively preventing them from leaving or taking any other action that might be healthy. Wormwood is a callous, mean-spirited lowlife, and the closest thing to a friend Stanley has in the circus.

   That's right my lovelies, your girl Fright is officially BACK. My after MONTHS of being completely waylaid due to carpal tunnel, I'm finally able to draw again. My surgery was a triumphant success and my drawing hand is back to nearly100%(just some stiffness left to shake out). Yeah, it's been a hell of an ordeal, but this massive road block has finally been broken down.

   FIRST THINGS FIRST: The Stanley Crowe pilot will be put on hold until January 1st of 2027. Instead of scrambling to make up lost time, I'm gonna set aside the entire year to do it, like I'd planned to do for this year. I'll even be adding a bit more to it!

Not to worry though; I have plenty of other goodies I'll be sharing with my generous supporters in the meantime. Which brings me to...

   SECONDLY: I'll be using the remainder of the year to finish up two bite-sized Viktor cartoons I'd started a while ago and put on hold for Stanley. I figure this way you lovely folks will get some extra cartoons BEFORE the main show, which is a win-win for everyone. Of course, my backers will still be receiving the usual extra bonuses for their generous support, which brings me to...

   THIRDISH: I have something extra special planned for all of the amazing folks who've continued to send support my way, even during this ridiculous delay. Your time and money is absolutely not something I take for granted, and I'm so tremendously grateful to you. Thank you so much for sticking with me while I went through one of the worst periods in my life; I promise to make your support worth it by making the best damn cartoons I possibly can.

   FINALLY: I'll be using the rest of the month to finish up healing and gradually getting my hand used to drawing again. I have a few more commissions on my queue to clear out, and a whole lotta prep work for the amazing cartoons I'm just DYIN' to share with you all!

That's right folks, your girl Fright still isn't able to draw. My wrist is back to doing shitty, to the point whereI can hardly make a grocery list without my hand screaming at me.

NGL, I'm really upset that my improved condition was just a temporary respite. I feel like I let everyone down with having to bring this show to a halt just a few months after it started. PLUS, the doctor made it clear that I'm gonna need major surgery on my wrist, which means more months of waiting to go under the knife, then a few more months of recovery time. Basically, it's looking like my entire year is shot. Can't say I'm too thrilled about that.

Ah well. Once this whole mess is behind me, I'll be commemorating my grand return with a special surprise for all of my generous supporters. Just one more thing to look forward too, one more thing to keep me optimistic, if only for a little while.

That's all, I just wanted to bring you fine folks up to speed. In the meantime here's the next update, which I managed to finish up before my wrist decided to give out again.

That's right, my lovelies! Your girl Fright is thrilled to announce that her wrist is beginning to feel a little bit better. After over a month of not being able to draw, and with the help of some pretty intense new workouts, I've been able to start picking away at Stanley Crowe once more!

Yeah, obviously it's incomplete and the timing needs work, but holy SHIT you guys it feels good to be animating again. If I keep it up with these workouts I should be able to start regular progress updates again soon, Wish me luck! 🖤 

I also wanna take a moment to offer my most heartfelt thanks to everyone who's continued to support me during these trying times. I really appreciate you all so very much, I truly cannot overstate how much it means to me. Love you folks! X3
