Hey gang, figured it was time for another update since it’s been a while!
First and foremost, thank you all once again for your continued support. Whether you’re a long-time fan or just found me recently, I want to say from the bottom of my heart; thank you for giving me a shot. I really don’t take this for granted, and I appreciate you guys interacting with my work and sharing your own. This server doesn’t work without you keeping it afloat.
That said, I need to address the elephant in the room: my workflow. It’s no secret that I’m a perpetual overthinker. You can look up and down this server and see the constant struggle with deadlines, inconsistent branding, and lack of posting. Sometimes I wonder if I’m really cut out for this while maintaining a full-time job and other freelance obligations. When I started this SubscribeStar page and server I didn’t really have a concrete goal in mind, and maybe that’s been the problem. There’s still no real sustainable structure — it’s just been vibing things out.
I’m not giving up. In fact, it’s the opposite. But I have to be honest with myself and with you about what I can actually deliver. Right now I feel like I’m juggling way too much, so I’ve decided to reprioritize my content pillars moving forward. This should help me stay on track, hit deadlines more consistently, and avoid creative burnout.
Moving Forward:
1. Commission Tier
A lot of you said the chance to commission me was a big reason you signed up. So I’m implementing a Commission Tier on the SubscribeStar page. When I’m accepting ideas, I’ll post about it here. You’ll have a few days to email me your ideas. It won’t be first-come-first-serve. I’ll pick a winner (or winners) after the window closes and follow up via DM for any extra details. This will only be available to active subscribers.
2. Raffle System
 Only Tier 3 subscribers will be eligible. I’ll be using the GiveawayBot to help automate things. Raffles will run for 24 hours and pick two winners: the first name drawn gets a full colored piece, the second gets a flat colored piece. Any additional changes or alts can be discussed via DM as an upgrade.
3. YCH & Adoptables
 I’m refocusing on these. Looking forward to having more fun with new character designs and some more degenerate auction ideas.
Unfortunately, this means poll pieces and AMAs will take a backseat for now. I still enjoy drawing popular characters, but I often spend way too much time overthinking how to represent them and it doesn’t feel worth it. I’ll finish the current AMA backlog, but after that they’ll be less of a priority.
Hopefully, you guys understand the thinking behind these changes. I really want to make supporting you the priority, and I think this new system will help me do that better.
I’ll be looking to have all these changes live by the beginning of October, so stay tuned. Raffle with the Giveaway bot will be live shortly.
