Update 3/20/24

The next chapter of Let Mama Help With That is a monster. Very large, which is why it's taking longer than usual. There is enough to chop into two segments but that would feel kind of weird. It should be released either this weekend or early next week.

Youthrift Pt3 is looming closer. I am now on what I call the "text pass". Like many who create a large works of art independently, I work like a printer, going "line by line" in different passes. This means that I will sketch each page of the entire comic, then go back and add more refined details to each page until I've gone through the entire thing again, then go back to the first page and add solid black lines and hatching to each, then color, then shadows, etc, etc, etc. I'm not on the "text pass" meaning I am setting and anchoring the text and speech bubbles.

This is good, because the only pass after that is "Exclaims and Effects" before the review phase and then release. I will post more sketches/progress to the later pages once the rest begin to be posted again. Don't want to shoot my load all at once.

BabyLand (I may end up shortening the name just because the previous is beginning to feel like a mouthful) is about to finish the "Line pass", and considering how most of it will be black and white, that's a big chunk of work out of the way, though there will be a few splash pages that will be full color. It's not ahead of schedule like Youthrift but I am making better time than I thought I would.

Also if anyone knows how to watch the season 3 episode of Rugrats "Angelica's Birthday" without having to deal with a paramount plus subscription I'd be interested to know.
