Welcome! I'm happy you're here!

I've been writing ever since I knew how to, have never stopped, and now I'm here! I'm putting all of this out here in the hope that you will like reading my work as much as I liked writing it.  Or more! That's not illegal, or anything.

Below you will find a little blurb/guide for writing that I will be posting here.  If anything catches your attention, subscribe and read more!

Thank you!

Everything Moves

He says something. Pauses. Says something else. Goes silent, like he’s waiting for a response. It sounds a bit like he’s speaking Russian, she thinks, and a bit like he’s speaking Korean — but she can’t understand any of it.

“What,” she says. It comes out a bit louder than she wants it to, and she feels like she’s on the edge of a panic attack, her vision starting to go narrow at the edges.

His brows furrow and he says something that, by his tone, seems to be a question.

“What,” she says again.

He stares at her for a second, then slowly moves to get something out of a pocket on his jacket. She tracks his hands carefully as he moves. He pulls out a small object that looks like it’s made of copper, and he presents a pin that’s decorated with a small, fat-bodied bird on it like he’s letting her inspect it. After a few seconds of that, he says something else — it sounds more like German than whatever he was saying before — and the pin glows.

She says, “What the fuck,” because variety is the spice of life.

War Games

It's not uncommon for the Rangers to find the dead or the dying, is the thing.

The Blessed Lands have been at war for over a decade. People die. Sometimes they will find someone that’s too far gone, or come across a dead body or two, or children will come to ask for someone to help their parents or their siblings but by the time they get back, they’re already gone.

Yahí just never thought that she would find one.
