A member of my discord server recently came up with a really innovative method for controlling an OSR2. He's made a video about it, which I'd like to share with you with his permission.
What he's done is to implement multi-axis control using LEAP motion controller. In short it allows simultaneous control of all of the OSR2's movement axes using hand gestures. It's some excellent work that I absolutely had to showcase. I am particularly impressed by the use of a grip motion to control the T-valve.
The immediate application that he had in mind was for multi-axis scripting but there might be other applications, for example remote control.

Multi Fun Player or MFP is an open source app that allows you to play back multiple funscript files simultaneously and output them as T-Code, synced to a video file in DeoVR, MPV or Whirligig. That means that it's possible to experience multiple movement dimensions to 2D and VR content.MFP allows separate scripts for all 9 current T-code channels
The number of multi-axis scripts is currently small, but it is growing. The use of separate funscript files for each axis is pretty cool though, because it means that it's pretty easy to add extra axes to existing scripts.
Yoooi, the developer of MFP is a long time contributor to my Discord community and has devoted a lot of time to this project. I highly recommend that you visit his Patreon page and support his work.
There's a new T-Code video player in town and I think you guys should check it out.
Something that has really contributed to the success of the OSR2 has been the work of developers who have taken up the concept of T-Code and run with it. I have already talked about Raser1's work with JFP, which continues to open up a vast swathe of existing scripted adult content to the OSR2.
Well, now there's a new player called XTP, by a creator called Khrull, and it's got a tonne of features. These include sync with DeoVR, gamepad control, and also the ability to tie in additional T-Code axes (e.g. twist) via a multiplier from the main script. (Of course you'll be using XTP to watch Ender's game!)The most exciting feature in my opinion however is the ability to run multiple funscripts simultaneously for multiple TCode axes. This unlocks capabilities of the OSR2, like pitch and roll, that were previously only available to VaM users. Multi-axis scripting is still in its infancy, but the guys over at Eroscripts are starting to give it a serious go now that software like this is available to play it. I think it's very exciting to see this kind of innovation going on!
He's also done some work making an ESP32 powered version of the OSR2. Interesting stuff!
I've got some of my own content coming in the next few days. I want to get the full OSR2.1 design and plans released as a definitive "start here" package before I move to an alpha release of the SR6.
This is the PC app that allows you to use your OSR2 with scripted adult video content.
Raser1 has informed me that he has recently released a new version of Joy Fun Player, designed to work with TCode devices like OSR2. It works with various 2D and 3D video players and synchronises the movement of the robot to the action on screen.
To my amusement in recent months I have seen scripts appearing saying that they have been specifically created for OSR2. It seems that with the right servos it can massively outperform any other device out there in terms of both speed and range.
I am always happy to promote excellent work like JFP, so this post is to let you know you can get your copy for free right now over at ErosScripts.
I often get questions about how to go about using JFP, and I always have to say that it's Raser1's baby so I don't know the best answers. I think it's great that it's found a home on Eroscripts, and it's now the best place to go if you have questions about it, feedback etc.
