Iām writing to share some difficult news about the development of The Shared Photoset.
My main computer has stopped working, and unfortunately, my current notebook isnāt capable of running Koikatsu. This makes it impossible for me to continue working on the project. Although Iāve written much of what was planned for future versions, without the ability to generate renders, I canāt move forward with development.
For this reason, Iāve made the difficult decision to cancel the gameās development. Itās incredibly frustrating to step away from something Iāve dedicated so much time to, especially due to circumstances beyond my control. However, I believe itās important to be transparent with you rather than make promises I canāt keep.
While this chapter is coming to an end, my interest in developing erotic games remains strong. I already have new ideas in mind that wonāt depend on such resource-intensive tools.

V0.1 RELEASE - FIRST DEVLOG OF FEBRUARY
I am proud to present version 0.1 of āThe Shared Photoset.ā Although it is shorter than I had planned, it is a major milestone because the game will no longer be linear, and decisions will begin to have an impact on the game. There are two planned routes, an intermediate ending, and a special scene if you achieve a perfect score.

Why is version v0.1 shorter than planned?
My original plan was to cover up to the night of the first day or the beginning of the second. However, due to personal reasons that forced me to be away from home for a week, I had to make a decision: delay the release or launch the version now and enjoy what's to come. I decided to release this version now so as not to keep you waiting any longer and to ensure that the decision system and new CGs work perfectly. Also, to finish the Spanish translation and polish the last bugs. I'm working from a shitty notebook.

āThe Shared Photosetā is my top priority, and I won't stop working on it for anything. However, working in a different place has given me ideas for future projects; these are just concepts I've been writing down:

Hello, everyone! Sinoda here. This update has taken longer than I would have liked. Mainly because I had to redo most of the images and because I wanted to redo the prologue.
I've spent the last few weeks trying to redesign the game's prologue because I felt the pacing was a bit dull. I ended up creating two completely new versions, with original CGs, but neither of them quite convinced me. One version didn't appeal to me for the prologue, but I think it could work later in the story, and the other was very rushed; Sig was worse than in the rest of the story. Therefore, I have decided to keep the original prologue, but shortened and optimized so that the entry into the story is much more agile.
This update focuses mainly on visual and technical aspects. Although the story progress is small in this version, all the work done has served to lay the groundwork for what is to come.
In the following images, you can see some of the CGs I made for these discarded prologues.

About v0.1
I am now focusing all my efforts on v0.1, which will be the biggest advance in the project to date. For that version, I can confirm the following:
- Official Spanish translation: written and reviewed by native speakers (not by machine).
Community launch: with v0.1, an official Discord server will be opened, an exclusive space to discuss theories, see previews, and talk with everyone.Ā
Ā And, of course, a major expansion of the story.
Note: my current priority is narrative quality. Therefore, we will first release the English and Spanish versions. However, I would like to implement other languages via MTL in future updates, depending on community interest and demand.
The release date for version 0.1 will be February 9, so stay tuned. SubscribeStar levels will open on the same day. Those who decide to support me there will be able to play version 0.1 immediately, as well as access all the exclusive features of each tier that we will reveal that day.

First devlog January 2026 - V0.0.4
Ā Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and started the year with plenty of energy.
Progress in numbers (Script)
Writing has been my main focus these past few weeks. I wanted to make sure the tension between Anna, Lucy, and Sig feels real.
Previous word count: ~3,500
Current word count: ~7,300
Note: This update might feel a bit short in terms of duration, but thereās a crucial reason for it. While I was writing the continuation and getting ready to start the CGs and Ren'py implementation, I realized I could make the story much more impactful. I decided to completely rewrite several key scenes to better capture the tension and emotions I want for this game.Ā
Shaders.
As I mentioned, I want the atmosphere to be as immersive as possible. Iāve started implementing shaders to improve the depth and lighting of the characters.
Currently, these changes are only visible in the new CGs for this update. Applying them to all previous assets would have delayed this release, and I really wanted to get this version into your hands this week. However, don't worryāI plan to go back and update the older scenes soon!
