Hey everyone, working on building update. Still will try to do all for end of this month, but while building decide add some evens and vampire's costume for smooth progression. Last poll won't be, both variants of costume kind of will be in the game. That all, just small post for let your know that all good and work is going on.

Hello everyone! Here's a little update post on the development progress.

The text for the update is ready and already sent for translation, overall it will contain around 28,000 words. Apart from that, all sketches are ready and some of the events were already implemented into the game. Meanwhile, I'm working on the drawings in full swing. I believe it's obvious (judging the volume of this update's text) that you're all in for a pretty big update.

There will be another poll in early May - voting for a new costume for Noemi's cosplay in the "Arcade".

For now, the release is planned for June. But as always, the more precise data on the development progress is reflected on the discord server.

Текст готов и отдан на перевод, вышло ~28к слов. Помимо этого готовы все наброски, некоторые события уже вставлены в игру, а я вовсю работаю над артами. Думаю по количеству слов понятно, что вас ждет крупное обновление.

В начале мая будет еще одно голосование, посвящено новому костюму для косплея в "Аркаде".

Пока релиз нацелен на июнь. Но как всегда лучшим ориентиром будет прогресс в дискорде.

Hello everyone, it’s time for me to share some news about the development.

Currently, I’m working on the text. It consists of 8,000 words so far, and according to the plan, there is a chance for it to be over 15,000 once finished. Usually I managed to do more in the same period of time, but the 0.17 update is a little different in terms of pacing and my approach to the development. It is not as linear as previous updates, so while working on the text I also put in some events into the game that already have arts ready for them. Here’s an example of an event logic, where Noemi is working on the street. I can’t keep that event in mind and simultaneously write text for it.

As I mentioned above, the amount of words can reach 15,000 or even more – the reason for that is that I really want of wrap up the main content related to the “Arcade” in 0.17, so I’m not setting any limits in terms of word or art amount. This will be one of the biggest updates I released lately, but as such it will require a little more time than usual. As I said in the previous post, this update will feature the new events for the “Arcade”, new events with Rufina and three guys that used to help Noemi.

On the more unpleasant note, I just wanted to briefly mention the recent events that slowed my work a bit. I fell sick with Covid earlier this month, but luckily, I recovered pretty easily and right now I’m feeling good. Also, the current situation in the world affects my work one way or another. As of today, I cannot retrieve the funds from Patreon or Subscribestar, many of my programs’ subscriptions were cancelled (due to Visa and Mastercard being blocked in my country). All this is distracting me and slowing the development down, but it’s not crucial – I can still keep working and 0.17 will certainly be released no matter what. I hope the situation will become clearer by the time the update is released. I will keep you informed and tell about any milestones related to the development.

Unfortunately, the New Year’s event will not be release. I’ll be honest, I don’t really have the mood or desire to work on it. But that concerns only the New Year’s theme – I will still keep working on little demos made in Unity, it’s just they won’t be related to the New Year anymore. And finally, to end the post on a more positive note, here’s the art from the upcoming update.

На данный момент я работаю с текстом. Готово 8к слов и, судя по плану, есть шанс перевалить за 15к слов. Обычно, за это время я успевал сделать больше, но 0.17 слегка отличается по темпу и подходу разработки, оно не такое линейное как прошлые обновления, поэтому параллельно с текстом, я уже вставляю неторные ивенты в игру и к ним готовы некоторые арты. Вот пример логики работы Ноэми на улице. В уме держать этот ивент и писать для него текст не получится.

Как я уже сказал выше, количество слов может спокойно перевалить выше 15к слов, потому что я действительно хочу закончить основную часть "Аркаду" в 0.17, поэтому я не ставлю никаких ограничений в плане количество слов или арта. Это обновление скорее всего будет самым крупным за последнее время, но соответственно и потребует чуть больше времени чем обычно. Как я уже писал в прошлом посте. В 0.17 будут новые события в Аркаде, события с Руфиной и события с тремя ребятами, что когда-то помогали Ноэми.

Из неприятных новостей хочу отметить события, которые немного замедлили работу. В начале месяца я заболел ковидом, но перенес его в легкой форме и сейчас уже все хорошо. Также события, что приходят в мире как ни крути сказываются на работе. На данный момент я никак не могу выводить средства из patreon'a и subscribestar'а, у многих программ слетели подписки из-за невозможности оплатить(visa и mastercard заблокированы). Это все отвлекает, замедляет, но не критично, я все еще могу продолжать работать, и 0.17 точно выйдет несмотря ни на что. Надеюсь под релиз 0.17 ситуация станет яснее. Я буду держать вас в курсе и отмечать все важные моменты, которые будут касаться разработки игры.

К сожалению, новогоднее событие не выйдет. Скажу честно, у меня нет ни желания ни настроения работать над ним. Но это именно относится к новогодней тематике, я все еще продолжаю работу на маленьким демо на юнити, просто оно теперь не будет на новогоднюю тему.

Ну и напоследок, чтобы закончить пост на хорошей ноте, арт из будущего обновления.
