Changes for singing up for the beta
Due to some pillocks petitioning to leak the beta, it'll no longer be available for anyone who's not already a supporter in good standing.
If you're not currently a supporter of standing, don't sign up in hopes to get into the beta.
Sorry about that, but the beta is not in a state to be ready to released to the public, and I'm not taking any chances.

This is perfectly understandable
It's your show, we're just glad to join you. Run it how you need to for yourself.
I whole heartedly agree with this choice. I hate seeing games I support leaked too early. I get that it is going to happen, and that it may be good for free versions to be out there to entice new supporters... but there is a too soon.
yeah if it still needs debugged it could have the opposite effect and earn it bad reviews and make people avoid it. Not everyone understands what a beta means or cares about that detail.
I would think being a supporter at X tier for the previous X number of months would be a requirement to even sign up for a beta. Every other dev I'm subbed to has always done that (usually no sign up needed, but only upper tiers get alpha/beta releases, mid tiers get it a month before public, lowest tiers get it a few days to a week before public). And I'm not one to leak things so it wouldn't be me (only times it's happened is when a dev decided to never public release it and put it behind a permanent paywall, seldom but on rare occassions still happens). If I in effect paid for it so can everyone else.
This I support one hundred percent. If you have to lower the Beta access pool to stop leaks then as a developer it is your perogitive to do so.
