Hello!

The patch 0.6 is here! However, I'll be splitting the patch into 2 parts. This is mostly because there is still unfinished/untested content and I rather not rush it. So meanwhile I'll update you with all the new battle mechanics, Quality of Life improvements, Visual improvements and more.

IMPORTANT: Past saves are uncompatible, if you try to load a save it may give you an error.
What is new?
  • Movement: The player now can move in diagonal and run by holding the mouse button.
  • Difficulty: After a lot of feedback, I decided to adjust the difficuty, after all, is the begining of the game and letting the player learn everything first is always a better choice. Regardless, the difficulty will increase as the player progresses in the game. 
  • Battle HUD: New custom and improved Battle HUD, this will help giving the game more personality!
  • Combo System: Rather than using QTE like with Timing Attacks, this time the skills will have enhanced effects based on how the player chains their attacks. More reliable too!
  • Party members: A certain character is now playable! (temporaly)
  • Pawssion Gauge System: There will be a new Gauge that will fill by using Combos. This Gauge will increase its charges as you gain affection and complete quests through the game. These abilities will be an extra resource for the player.
  • Items: Items no longer consumes the player turn, instead they will be set on cooldown. Upon usage the item category may be set on cooldown while others may set the whole inventory in cooldown, it will depend on the item.
  • New content: There is slightly more content than before! A very small scenario and a new boss fight.
  • New characters: Even though these dont have a full conversation yet.
  • Added Battle Animations speed in the options settings.
  • Potions usage has changed to Battle Only. You can find Field healing items at the Shop.

As for the second half of the patch, it will have the new locations, enemies, quests and Artwork. But that will have to wait a bit more! 
Back to the Saves:

Due the new mechanics and features being implemented, specially the new Battle HUD, past saves are no longer compatible, even if they show up when you load the game.
These may keep happening on the future! So keep in mind, since this is an Early Access and many unexpected issues may keep appearing until the full release.
Regardless if there is a Save Wipe I'll try to give rewards like I did with the previous 2 Passwords for Costumes.

Known Issues:

  • Sttutering in the Forest: Some players has experienced some sttutering while running or walking in the Forest, it shouldn't cause any crash or anything. I'm currently trying to fix it.
    If you encounter a bug, please let me know!
  • Outdated Potions tutorial
  • First Aid Kits dissapears from the shop sometimes.
