WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Version 1.32 is mostly about improving the game’s haphazard internal structure, which in turn will make future improvements much easier.

[1]   Unrestricted Module Accessibility.
The old limitation on limited access to/from the Command and Control (C&C) module is gone.  Instead, all modules are now accessible at all times.  A campaign game (first battle) must still be commenced from the C&C module, however.

[2]  Improved Module Interfaces.
All modules, especially the Intro Screen and the C&C Module [See Image], have received updated looks.  More information is displayed, and done so more cleanly than before.  Also, many new “pop up” information displays have been added to various buttons, to further clarify what is happening and why.

[3]  Eliminated “Data Pollution” From Game Restarts.
Previously, quitting a Campaign Game and then restarting would cause a lot of redundant processing and counting of campaign events.  This has now been eliminated, so it is possible to quit the game and restart without disrupting your campaign game data.  EXCEPTION:  This freedom to quit the game does not apply to battles – once battle processing has been started (any time after pushing the “start battle” button from a module), then quitting the battle will still cause a campaign data disruption.  I hope to eliminate this limitation in a future update.

[4]  Revised Access to Prisoner Interrogation and Prisoner Exchange
A big reason why the C&C module previously had limited accessibility was to prevent manipulation of the prisoner interrogation and prisoner exchange features.  Access to these features has now been revised as follows:
- If the C&C module is in use with manual interrogation/exchange, then you must wait a turn/battle to expend your time allocated to prisoner interrogation/exchange.  For example, if you allocate commander time before Battle 2, then you can expend that time (for interrogation or exchange) after Battle 2 and before Battle 3.
- If the C&C module is not in use, or if the “auto” settings are enabled, then all interrogation and exchange will happen automatically after the next battle.  Thus, commander time expended before Battle 2 will be automatically used for interrogation/exchange immediately after Battle 2 and reported on the post-Battle 2 reports.

[5]  Revised Campaign Supply Allocation
The annoying “scale factor” has been totally removed from the game, and the supply system has been much simplified.  Basically, it takes 10 time units to fully supply your troops (unless they are very heavy on automatic weapons and then it might take 11 units).  Commander time allocation is modified by several factors, including distance from base, supply savings, looted supplies, etc.  [See “A” on Image.]  Obviously, expending prestige bonuses on supply will make supply allocation easier.

[6]  Major Upgrade To Sound Effects.
The sound system has been upgraded with much improved internal architecture.  Also, more than 6,000 new sounds (!) have been added, bringing the total to almost 9,000.  Several new sound cues have been added (including during prisoner torture), so you will get more sound in more places.  Finally, many categories of sound have been sub-categorized, so that voices will be more applicable to a situation.

[7]  Revised Map 31 (Ballroom)
I’m very proud of the new look of the Ballroom map, which uses a bigger map (allowing exterior walls and outside to be in play), and adds a lot of furniture and other eye-candy to make the whole map look more realistic.  I hope to eventually augment other maps the same way (for example, see bar stools added to Map 1).

[8]  Death By Drowning
It is now possible for an unconscious woman floating in water to die by drowning.

[9]  Numerous Bug Fixes
Among other things, I spent a lot of time tracking down bugs impacting Team deployment.  I think everything works pretty well now.

However, if you do spot bugs, please help me reproduce them (the prerequisite to any fix) by providing as much information as possible about how and where the bug happened.  Although I have done my best to test everything, I expect that a patch or two will be needed before Version 1.32 is stable.

Prior Data Compatibility
As usual, you can copy over your custom combatants (Combatant Data folder) and various Team Builder settings (Campaign Data folder).  However, existing campaign settings are not compatible with Version 1.32, so there is no way to transfer an in-progress campaign.
Also, make sure to copy over your license files to the Version 1.32 Campaign Data folder

Exclusive Access
As usual, paying members will have exclusive access to the Version 1.32 update for 30 days, after which the update will be made public.
