June Status
Hello everyone!
I have been meaning to do a quick update post. To keep things somewhat brief: I got invited to go on a little road/ camping trip and decided to accept since I have been cooped up all winter. I won’t be gone long (~7-9 days), but the next release will have to wait until I return in the first days of July before I finish. I was trying to squeeze out a modest sized update before I left but I still have a lot of prep to do for both my trip and the next version. I will release the substantial .87 update for the public tomorrow before I head out for the weekend.
I will probably have some spare time to write while I am gone so production won’t suffer a huge amount if at all. The last little trip I went on produced a fair amount of raw content. I have also acquired a decent laptop so that’s cool, even though I am well versed with ye old pen and paper. But if I can skip a word processing stage that is always nice.
For .88 I have lots of stories in development. I have a few characters/ areas I am focusing on like Julie. I wrote a bit more of the impersonation scene because WarGalley reminded me of it. So feel free to give me a poke if you are wondering about something. With so many stories I lose track sometimes too :P So a little reminder goes a long way, especially if it something we haven't seen in a few updates.
The latest corps poll (one for characters without recent updates) has Evan in the lead, followed by Julie, Drew, then Mitch, Tim, and Taylor vs Taylor. So I have written a little bit for each. Similar to the last few months, I have a lot of raw content in progress. I will be happy once I finally finish a few routes with true endings. Most of this new content is in sequence so there is a good chance it gets added once I put a bit more time in. Most of your favorite Transfigure routes should get an update before the summer is over!
Funding wise, the Tango Fiction Patreon is up to a substantial $600. This is at a level that is sustainable and approaching what I consider fair for the time I put in a given month. I am not getting rich but I don’t think I am wasting my time either. It generally takes me ~40 hours to create a 10k update. I worked really hard for over a year at a tiny fraction of minimum wage so to get to a level of funding that proves there is demand for my writing is really gratifying. I feel like I am on the cusp of not sucking.
Of course I have all my patrons and readers to thank for that - so thanks! More saucy Transfigure tales coming soon!
