I only got 4 pages done last month where I said I'd do 8. Maybe I put too much effort into the pages I did get done, or maybe it's some other thing because I do have a lot going on still. Either way, I'm happy with those 4 pages as an accurate depiction of what I had in mind.
Now, though, I have to hit the deadline no matter what. I'll get one of my partners to help me with base colouring if I think it might speed up the process and simplify some of the less important panels to make sure the larger panels get the attention they need. I'm ready with some planning to make sure I do that smoothly.

I've run into the realisation that I keep rewriting things over and over and changing things BECAUSE I am plural. My alters and I have very different ideas about what we want this comic to be and those ideas clash regularly. The middle ground option DOES NOT WORK EITHER because I (Summer) want to write a cute kinky endearing story with some slapstick humour, Winter/Qintr wants to write something meaningful and deep and personal with political undertones, May wants to write lesbian gore horror with traumatic subjects. I cannot find a way for the story to be all of these things so infinite rewrites ensue.
Therefore, moving forward we are placing Summer in charge of Ero Trap Rift, and from chapter 5 onwards it should have better direction/pacing.
This puts us in an awkward spot though, and we would like feedback.
We need to do other projects to break things up and allow Winter/Qintr and May to also be creative. So during November and December, ETR will go on break and my alters will produce one short project each for you all.
Once they have done their projects and you have all seen and reacted to them, I'll resume ETR for one chapter, then go on break for another 2-3 months for more short projects in-between.
The comic gets done a little slower but you also get to see some art of Zola, and some new stuff from a personality I had previously kept suppressed.
Does that sound like a good plan?
