Here's a new look at the current state of Update 0.6.
Pump Lady ended up becoming much more than I originally planned.
When I first finished the sequence, I was already happy with it. But while working on it, I realized the sequence itself was asking for more.
What started as a simple introduction with a few planned interactions slowly branched out and connected with each other, eventually becoming a much more complete sequence with its own progression and conclusion.
And honestly, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
The downside is that this pushed some of the other 0.6 work back a little. But that's development — sometimes a scene takes you somewhere you didn't expect.
Pump Lady is now around 95% complete in terms of its core implementation. What's left is mostly light polishing, while the final artwork is still ahead.
Dild Lady and the remaining Files are next, along with a small secret piece that may or may not make it into 0.6. 👀
