PawPad Palace — A bigger world, more Faye, and a lot more life 💙

A lot has changed in PawPad Palace since the last public update.
This time, development has focused less on adding isolated systems and more on making the game feel like a real place Faye lives in — with routines, memories, quiet moments, and locations worth returning to.
🌿 Willowmere is starting to come together
The outdoor world has received a major visual overhaul.
Willow Green, Willow Lane, Fountain Square, the café, SPA and Faye’s home are becoming parts of one connected neighborhood instead of feeling like separate test areas.
There are new buildings, paths, terraces, a river and bridge, seasonal scenery, animated water, darker nights, warm lantern light, butterflies, fireflies and more.
This is only the first playable part of Willowmere. The rest of the town is already being planned.
🌦️ Special places now react to the world
Willow Green has become one of the first real “memory spots” in the game.
Its scenic views can now change with:
  • sunrise and sunset
  • weather
  • seasons
  • moon phases
  • stars and shooting stars
  • fireflies
  • even a distant rainbow during afternoon drizzle
Not every place needs a quest attached to it.
Some places should simply be somewhere you want to sit with Faye for a while.
🍰 You can bake with Faye
The café now has an optional baking activity.
You can choose between vanilla, chocolate or lemon cake, stir the batter yourself, spread icing and place toppings freely.
There are no recipe scores or strict timers.
It’s meant to feel like spending time with Faye, not working another job.
And she can later remember cakes you actually shared and flavours you really told her you liked.
💬 Conversations are becoming more dynamic
Your replies now matter more.
Faye can react differently depending on what you say, and later meetings can reference conversations that actually happened.
You can meet her in places like:
  • Willow Green
  • the café terrace
  • the SPA porch
Sometimes you can talk.
Sometimes you can simply sit together.
And after a treatment, Faye may stay on the porch with you for a little while instead of immediately heading home.
🐾 Care is becoming more personal
Faye’s early shyness is now much more visible.
Mud, dust or sweat can embarrass her. She may blush, avoid your gaze or become a little tense when her paws are uncovered.
Actual care can help her settle.
Washing, towel use and gentle contact reassure her, and familiar situations gradually become less intimidating over time.
She can also begin remembering real care choices — including scent-related routines — and later refer back to things that genuinely happened.
The direction I’m aiming for is:
Not “Relationship +2.”
But “She remembers.”
At higher trust, the care system can also become more intimate. Eventually, Faye may trust you enough to let you care for both paws at once.
🎬 More cinematic moments
I’m also working on making important scenes feel less like functional menus and more like actual moments between characters.
Scenic viewpoints, weather, lighting and character reactions are becoming a bigger part of the presentation.
I want places and relationship moments to feel memorable even when nothing “important” is happening mechanically.
The current development builds are still being tested by Supporters first, but I wanted everyone to be able to see where PawPad Palace is heading.
I’ll keep sharing GIFs, screenshots and progress here while the newer builds are tested.
Thank you for following development 💙
