Let Chaos Reign Chapter 35: Truth is Stranger Than Fiction

After the duel between me and Dooku, days went by with us contacting what was left of the gutted Separatist high command. Besides Grievous, Dooku, and Ventress, most of the other commanders were dead or currently trying to survive while figuring out what the hell they were going to do.

That’s why several messages were sent out with Dooku giving the order for what remained of our forces to converge at Tatooine and Hutt space, acknowledging it as safe. The ships rolled in in a matter of days.

Entire fleets of what was left of the loyal droids and the various commanders and anyone else of importance. Turbo Slug Inc. was put through a trial by fire to see if my employees could set up the necessary codes and implement the redundant systems in the various factories we had gotten set up in the system while also sending out orders on what needed to be done, further reinforced by both Grievous and Dooku backing me up.

Hopefully those factories listen and do as they are told, otherwise, this war just got a lot more difficult to win. A few factories lost, which, while not good, wasn’t a game over. The issue I had, despite most of the Quiet Hand and myself being capable of demolishing most, if not everything, the Republic could throw at us, was that we couldn’t be everywhere at once.

Sure, I had my Nen ability that was still being further developed into its final form with the combat variant, the Hidden Throne, but those extra bodies, while nice, couldn’t compensate for an entire galaxy. So while we messed up a key world like Kamino, Palpatine would have his forces ravage several of my worlds in exchange.

So the need for a stronger army became abundantly apparent. It’s why the newly upgraded B1s were being put to the test.

“Ah… I’m alive?” It said aloud after having its legs severed at the hip as the droid looked down at what was left of its body in surprise, having expected to die. “I’m alive!” It said excitedly before a shadow loomed over it.

“Oh no… I’m alive.” It said, in realization, before Grievous’s lightsaber cut through what was left of the droid's redundant systems that allowed it to continue functioning when any older model would have just been scrapped by that point.

Dooku and Grievous, alongside Ventress, had undergone various forms of training. Grievous and Ventress both were getting grilled when it came to the usage of a lightsaber. Grievous trained with Pitou, and Ventress was alongside Maul under me.

Whatever grudge she had became buried when she realized her master was bested by me. So what chance did she have in a direct confrontation?

Dooku, after our sparring session, which I found myself thankful for, employed the same strategy Obi-Wan and Anakin had when they confronted him for the last time in orbit above Coruscant.

The idea was to hold back enough for the esteemed gentleman to believe that while I was good, I wasn’t enough for him to go all out. I wanted to be aggressive enough to make it difficult for him to gauge just what he was fighting against but without giving away too much before I overwhelmed him with too much power, speed, and, above all else, skill that would make him mentally bluescreen.

For added measure, just to be safe, I also made sure I defeated him fast enough to prevent him from getting an opportunity to recover physically and mentally. It’s why I used some moves from Anakin’s preferred form incorporated into Niman and hammered away with my enhanced strength and speed.

“Alright, you're doing pretty good, Solution.” I said, weaving through a series of complex slashes using just my bare hands and feet. “You’ve come a long way with Nen."

Her seven tentacles with sharpened edges strong enough to carve through durasteel like it was butter flitted through the air fast enough to leave afterimages. Sidestepping, ducking under another, and then stepping onto one and avoiding the protrusions, she formed each with blades that were avoided with dexterity and balance that bordered on the supernatural.

All of her appendages that tried to attack had multiple waves of my hands touching them before I leaped off the tightrope-thin tentacle before all of them fell into thick slices of slime. Her ten had grown significantly to the point it took some effort on my end to manage to pierce through it and slice her already absurdly durable body to pieces.

The attacks made on her wouldn’t do any significant harm, considering what she was, and not to mention, her skills as an assassin also included healing-based moves.

She smiled happily at the praise while her eyes had a look of intense concentration. Much like in Overlord, I remembered Ainz learning that the levels of the npcs remained where they were in the game. But that didn’t mean Solution couldn’t improve mentally or through another system entirely.

Nen proved that with how much more powerful she had become. Her ren enhanced blows sent gusts of wind strong enough to make cars slide. The ground had several trenches and several meter-deep gouges in it where she had missed several strikes.

Nearing her main body, my arms became nothing but blurs, slicing and breaking apart her tendrils and snapping a leg out, blasting away the many portions of her that rushed me from behind. Her eyes narrowed before another limb had the light of the system's star shift and adjusted around the scythe-like limb.

But like the few other times she had used her nen ability in the middle of our training session, it came at me far faster than all of her previous strikes. Arms braced with ten tightly wrapped around my body before shutting it off on the rest of my body besides my arms.

Ko, now in use, when the now-solid limb that lost its liquid state of matter slammed into me, bursting the air with a deafening crack and sending a shockwave past me that slammed into a several-meter-thick duracrete wall that almost broke through it.

Wincing a little, only for the look to get wiped off my face when I ducked under another tendril that lost its fluid flexibility for more defense and power that sent a gust of wind that would have sliced through a normal person.

Backing away from it and shaking my arms before smiling. “Damn girl, you really did make a powerful Hatsu.” Solution paused before preening at the praise before she went wide-eyed when I rushed faster than before, right toward her torso.

Grimacing and realizing she couldn't dodge, she instead used her newly created ability again, but this time it was for her main body, shifting it from the parts that were obviously slime to a crystalline structure that shined brilliantly under the light. Her human-looking body remained the same in appearance, but I knew it had changed as well.

Her expression became brittle and off, jerking around and stuttering when she tried to move even small parts of it. It was like it all became one solid mass, and moving it with fine control became much more difficult.

My feet thundered across the ground, breaking apart the earthy rock beneath it, craters formed, the wind tugged and pulled at me before it was brushed off as an afterthought, and my body blurred forward with only one goal.

Leaping up and through the few limbs she had left that tried to slam into me with speed far surpassing what she had done before. The wind generated from a seemingly casual movement from her crystalline limbs almost knocked me off course.

Ko wrapped around my arm again, winding up my fist and cocking it back while ducking and weaving while avoiding the terrain under us becoming uneven from the devastation unfolding around us.

Seeing an opening when four limbs aimed to cut me off and pin me in, I pushed myself even more. Flexing my leg muscles, I shot forward like a cannonball, moving at speeds fighter jets would be jealous of.

Solutions' eyes widened comedically. Using ko, I reduced the area it covered along my arm, shrinking it down from my shoulder to my elbow and then my wrist until only my fist was coated in it.

If the area it was used on, my arm, was just reduced to my hand, then it would lead to an explosive amount of power, putting to shame the amount that would have been possible by having my entire arm covered in it.

My body was put through its paces, using absurd levels of speed combined with incredible strength and then an astounding level of durability. What does that all add up to?

One nasty punch.

Just the barest of openings in the crystal tentacles trying to entrap me was taken. I slipped through the narrow crack, had I been just a little bit slower, she would have had me. I rocketed towards Solution, whose look of satisfaction shattered. My arm cocked back and shot forward, and my ko covered fist slammed into her stomach.

The next thing I know, an ear-splitting ringing rang out, and a shockwave sent me flying and slamming back first into the barrier erected to avoid any collateral damage in the surroundings before it and the walls surrounding us crumbled and exploded to billions of pieces. The force was so great a miniature mushroom cloud was formed.

The duracrete crunched and shattered against my body, yet I was mostly unharmed with Ken coming up after Ko was used. The effect was immediate, with the shield protecting me from the worst of the rubble shooting out faster than bullets.

Solution scraped against the ground, sending up sparks and digging a trench in the ground. A hundred meters back she slid, and the only sign of damage she had taken in her compact, solid form was the cracks that formed along where her stomach would be if she were human.

She broke through the wall with a loud crack and rumble before she did her best impression of a meteor flying out and slamming into the outskirts of Mos Eisley. Grass, sand, dirt, and trees were upturned and mulched to finely minced vegetation with a trench and crater for added measure once she came to a stop.

Breaking free of the rubble that had landed on and tried to drown me with a great crack and groan from the massive slabs of duracrete and rock. Solution herself had an arm break free, followed by the rest of her. She brushed off the dirt and detritus, and despite the state she was in along with the outfit she had, she was all smiles.

Where my fist had impacted, she had only a few minor cracks that were only superficial. Solution's body changed state from her solid form to her normal liquid one. A round of applause was given to her when her body filled in the cracks, and soon it was bare, unblemished skin.

“You’ve done well, Solution. That ability is something else. I take it you don’t just have your solid form?” I was curious how it operated.

When I punched her torso, I wasn’t holding back near as much as I do with the others. Solution was the second closest to Pitou when it came to me cutting loose on someone who could not only take it but also gave it all back just as well.

She bowed deeply, her smile growing at the praise with a slight blush creeping up her cheeks. For a slime, she sure has the body language of a person down enough in some areas to pass herself off as a human.

“Your praise is far too much for a simple thing like that, Tobi. As for my forms, I have one other besides the solid form. I made a restriction of being forced to not be capable of accessing Ten or Ken when using my solid form. After that battle when you first summoned me, I felt it was best that I developed a means to counter my weakness.” Her smile dimmed and developed an edge as Ren began to leak from her.

I guess she really didn’t like Anakin constantly using the Force as a means to bludgeon her into paste several times. Then again it would get annoying when you're trying to fight someone only to have your body crushed multiple times and you're never given a chance to fight back.

“Would you like to see it?” She asked me shyly. Her body language shifted from confident to more like a school girl confessing her love to someone.

“Hmmmm… Nah.” She almost stumbled at my response. “Keep it a surprise. Why spoil the fun of what you created?” I shrugged as she looked at me oddly before bowing once more.

She looked ready to say something more as Kama Sutra and Haki picked up on her… Interest. Even without them, I would have to be the densest thing in the universe when she slowly sashayed closer and ran her hand along my arm, her fingertips brushing against my own. Her eyes held a deep desire, and her breathing, despite not being necessary for survival, picked up.

Unfortunately for Solution, a messenger arrived while I was cleaning up our arena if the sound of the repulsor lift humming from a speeder rocketing towards us was anything to go by. My vision soon shifted from the bullet-time slowed world of the Sharingan to its expanding and seeing nearly everything at once with the Byakugan, even acting as X-ray vision.

How Superman could fight the temptation to not abuse that power alone I will never know.

It just had so many uses it’s not even funny. With my vision expanding, seeing those that worked at the palace, the man was fully loyal and had no ill will since the speeder didn’t have any hidden explosives.

After the Hutts pulled their stunt, I was expecting any other criminal group to try something more intelligent even if the smartest thing they could do would be to avoid the ass-whooping express coming for them when they piss me off. The speeder lowered down, the hum dimming when the vehicle powered down.

“Sir, there is a man who wishes to see you.” One of the men that was upgraded with Nen said to us. He was one of the original people I had hypnotized back when I took over Jabba's palace.

Solution's smile quickly turned upside down as she frowned and stared bloody murder at the man when my back was turned to her. She was even using my narrow blind spot to hide her face, but Haki picked up on her negative emotions regardless.

He started to sweat before I gestured for him to get on with it. I didn’t have a communicator on me because of how annoying it got hearing everyone’s questions on what to do despite having set up delegation systems to ensure I didn’t have to deal with that. It further reinforced my point about not wanting to rule the galaxy, and Maul, after a couple of days dealing with it, got the idea of what I was talking about from before.

Be content with what you have and sit back and relax.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to be the case for me since he took a speeder all the way out here just to give me a message. If he was doing that and not taking it to his direct superior, then it was important enough I had to handle it.

“Take it easy, you’ll get a reward like Pitou did, Solution.” Solutions' negative emotions did a complete reversal. It almost made me go through mental whiplash, which I didn’t even think was possible. She relaxed, brushing up against me while the poor guy watching all of this looked unsure whether he should be here right now or not.

“So you can relax as well. I’m not going to hurt you for bringing a message. You wouldn’t come all this way just to tell me a random guy wants to talk. Did he have a name?”

“He said it was Quinlan Vos. He claimed he was a Jedi.”

I froze at the mention of the name and slowly craned my neck to look towards Mos Eisley. After thanking the man and telling him he could have the rest of the day off with all the pay he would normally get for the effort he took to get the message to me, which was quite a lot, we made our way back to the palace.

Entering into a guest room meant to entertain anyone that would be here to visit Jabba was lined with silk sheets depicting epic battles and conflicts, various Spartan-styled statues dotted the room with various sculptures from exotic aquatic creatures depicted swimming through the open air to art pieces making one ponder the good and the bad of one’s life.

In a comfy chair, surrounded by several Magnaguards, sat a man whose name rang so many bells for me even if I wasn’t the most well-versed when it came to his story.

He lounged on the chair, sipping away at a Corellian brandy, reclining like he owned the place. His dreads were partially draped across a bruised cheek.

“You’re looking pretty spry for a guy who got folded like a chair in the battle of Quell.” I said nonchalantly while Pitou was working on a complex puzzle box on the couch while she kept him company.

Solution was by my side, not pleased that he had interrupted a moment she had been wanting for some time. It had already been discussed with Pitou, and she was perfectly fine with Solution joining in on our fun times in private. Of course, my harem power gained early on helped with such things, and by this point I wasn’t against it.

More people to have fun and relax by blowing off some steam, especially people that can take more power from me where I don’t have to hold back, is a good thing in my book. I kind of ran into the Hancock issue of being too powerful. While I can sleep with regular women, it just isn't as enjoyable when I have to restrain myself every time we get down and dirty.

Focusing back on the man who nodded slowly towards me, a few fingers holding the glass of liquor and downing it all without even going into a coughing fit. Rather impressive considering that stuff was potent enough to give even die-hard alcoholics from Earth a run for their money.

“Something that surprises even me… Or it would have been if I hadn’t gone through some pretty rough fights before. But you guys," He smiled and chuckled, setting the glass back down on the table in front of him. “Are by far the hardest I ever got beaten."

“Why are you here, Quinlan Vas? If you're here to spy on me, you're doing a pretty lousy job of it. Unless it’s a distraction, then whatever your plan is has fallen apart the instant you came in here and tipped us off.” Every word was spoken with a casual nonchalance that couldn’t be faked. It was because I meant every word of it.

I was completely confident in not only myself but also the members of the Quiet Hand and the forces across Tatooine and still in orbit in the system in fighting any attempt at a decapitation strike.

They could send as many fleets of droids they wanted with clones backing them up. They would all be destroyed. The advantage Palpatine’s forces held by this point was that even with my Hatsu, those that fought beside me couldn’t be everywhere at once.

Where one system was defended, hundreds to thousands of others were getting overwhelmed with our enemy becoming a flood and swarming everyone else when we couldn’t be there. Every fire that springs up, and we can’t handle all of it at the same time.

Vas just gave me a knowing smile. “I’m well aware. I’m not here to spy, to sabotage, or anything having to do with my order or the Republic. I came here for answers.”

He had a second glass on the table and slid it towards the other empty chair before he gave me a look. Letting out a sigh, I gave him my answer. “Alright.”

Taking a seat at the table with Solution by my side, Quinlan eyed her, taking in her beauty before tearing his gaze away from her to me. He took the brandy and refilled his glass, then mine. Grabbing the glass and swirling the brown liquid inside before taking a sip, feeling the strong burn as it traveled down my throat.

“You're not the Sith Lord, right?”

A sharp bark of laughter escaped me when I was about to take another drink. “No. Farthest from it now, I used to be one, just as I was a Jedi. But as I’ve said to others, I have long since cast aside both titles. Something tells me you are already suspecting as much.”

He chuckled and shook his head. I continued knowing what the question actually referred to underneath the obviousness it held. “I didn’t orchestrate this war. If anything, I am trying to end it as smoothly and delicately as possible.”

That got a snort out of Quinlan. “You call kicking the crap out of me and every Jedi on Quell while slaughtering and crippling enough clones that the Republic will be getting desperate for months delicate?”

“Yes. It was either that or have all of you killed by a fleet's orbital bombardment after we slaughtered your fleet in orbit or a bomb hidden in one of the downed ships to vaporize all of you planetside.”

At my cold, succinct, and factual response Quinlan's humor quickly dried up as he stared at me for a long moment. He was trying to find something. What it was, I could hazard a few guesses, but the man, despite displaying more open emotions than most Jedi, was also capable of hiding his intent rather well.

“I figured as much when we were outclassed as badly as we were. You could have killed damn near all of us, but you didn’t. If you were the Sith Lord who started this war, then you wouldn’t have hesitated to kill as many of us as possible. Especially when Mace Windu was there, one of the bigger threats to you.”

“So it wasn’t the barren worlds that could never hope to sustain plant life that I had brought life to and releasing all the slaves in the outer rim that gave it away?”

Quinlan paused mid-sip before shrugging his shoulders. “If it makes you feel any better, I brought all of that up on Quell. The Jedi… They are clinging to the idea you are the one they are after, and even if you weren't, they view you as a threat to the Republic.”

He sat his glass down while I sipped away at mine. The mask was off today along with my hood, which I normally wear. He could see what species my body was and what I looked like. I didn’t care.

“Why are you here?” I said, finally cutting to the chase. The man’s questions already gave me suspicions, but I wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth.

He let out a sigh and a tired smile. “I’m here to scope you out, and so far you’ve been the opposite of everything the Jedi painted you out to be. Hell, I can’t even sense the Force coming from you, but even then I would have detected something of the dark side… The only whiff of that I am getting is from the one who killed Qui-Gon,” He gave me a scrutinizing look before continuing. “And two other sources.”

“First of all, Maul is no longer a Sith, after he got cut in half, his master abandoned him. He’s been replaced and now wants payback, and so far he has been slowly changing his ways.”

Quinlan just quirked a brow before idly commenting. “Can’t say I have heard of someone surviving something like what he did.” He seemed mildly impressed.

I was pretty sure it was more than that, but he was keeping his poker face on and only letting a few emotions bleed through.

“I can’t either, besides maybe one other guy that surpassed him in that regard. He’s been dead for a long ass time, but he was literally held together by the Force. If he let that control go, he would fall to pieces. That’s not a metaphor either.”

Quinlan hummed noncommittally. If he believed me about Darth Sion was anyone’s guess, but while what Maul did was impressive, there were others who blew him out of the water when it came to what he had accomplished.

“As for the other presences, those would be Ventress and Dooku.”

Quinlan froze, his laid-back demeanor shifting at that info drop. “Count Dooku is here? You're not doing yourself any favors with the image everyone has of you. You know that, right?”

I let out a long, tired sigh, rubbing my temples with both index fingers. “I am well aware, and it is a monumental pain in my ass.” I said with a tired voice.

Each word was laced with that bone-deep frustration that came from everyone thinking you were something you were not, and any attempt to prove them wrong, no matter how great and widespread it somehow was, was never enough.

I was also self-aware enough to know that my powers being put on display wasn’t helping. But if I wanted more power to topple Sidious, then I did what I had to do. I wasn’t going to second-guess my choices and begin doubting myself.

“So then why ally with them? Why not stay neutral or remain in the shadows?” Quinlan pried, his mask slipping more as he seemed to get an idea of who I am as a person.

“The droid army would have been far easier to subvert and take control of. Add in the fact they easily outnumbered you guys by a not so insubstantial amount, I was going to use them to apprehend the Jedi that were unknowingly following the Sith Lord responsible for this and clean the Senate up after killing the Sith.”

There was a lot more in between of how I was going to achieve these goals since it was just a brief summary of how I intended to topple Sidious, but I doubted Quinlan wanted to hear every exact detail, and even if he did, I wasn’t going to tell him all of my plans.

“It also wasn’t doing you guys any favors that the Sith Lord is in control of the Senate and, by extension, the clones. He gives one simple order and BOOM!” My hands shot up, and Quinlan flinched back at the loudness in my voice that came out of nowhere.

Thank you, noise amplification power!

“Next thing you know all of your troops are now shooting you in the back… The worst part about it is most of you wouldn’t even sense it coming through the Force.” I said, swirling my drink before downing the rest of it in one go.

“That… That can’t be. If the clones were going to betray us, we would know.” Quinlan sounded like he doubted his own words.

The man was smart. Smart enough to put pieces together most other Jedi would simply ignore because they didn’t match up with their worldview or what they believed at the time.

“Sure you would.” I said it like it was obvious, but my next words gave Quinlan pause. “If it weren't for the fact there would be no ill will or malice involved in most of them killing the rest of the Jedi. Think about it. You've seen the darker parts of the galaxy. You can’t tell me you haven’t encountered someone you were tracking or some incident where the Force couldn’t alert you… Right?”

Quinlan appeared deep in thought before he slowly nodded. “A long time ago. Back when I was sent on my first mission as a shadow. Was tracking a smuggler that had a hand in a senator's death, and it was tied to a small dark-side cult. I almost got killed when the guy manipulated local law enforcement that had no bad intentions, thinking I was up to no good and dangerous.”

“The current era of Sith had learned from the lessons I had imparted long ago back when I was still an edgelord.” I said with an air of wisdom.

Quinlan snorted. “An edgelord?”

“It’s slang. Used to describe people who intentionally make provocative, offensive, or wildly dark statements.”

“Ha! I love it.” Quinlan chuckled, dreads shaking with his laughter. Then his laughter died down when he leveled me with a far more serious look. “I did some digging when I saw that droid you had and the mask you wore. You’re Revan, aren’t you?”

“… I was. Not anymore. I learned to accept my birth name. I’m just Toby now. All I want to do is save the Republic, end this stupid conflict that never should have happened, and cleanse my name of the stupidity tied to it with-”

"Ah, there you are, Toby. I was… Jedi Knight Vos, how unexpected.” Count Dooku said, opening the door without even knocking. Some gentleman he turned out to be.

Unlike how he normally appeared, even if it was subtle, his white hair had begun to turn gray after his several-hour stint in the waters of the fountain of youth. The man walked in like he owned the place completely unbothered by Quinlan being here.

“I take it you have a good reason as to why he is here, not in a cell, and sitting at a table enjoying some expensive Corellian brandy?” He looked down at me imperiously despite knowing damn well I could handle him in a fight.

Also rather impressive, the Count knows what kind of alcohol it is just by looking at it… Is he an alcoholic by chance?

Even Maul could cause the man some trouble when it came to a clash of blades. The only reason he could put up a fight now was courtesy of his extensive training in Niman coupled with his increased understanding and growing power in the Force and thunder breathing.

By Dooku’s side stood two of the obsidian black statues of the spartan guards. Quinlan's eyes widened, showing his realization that the statues around the castle were in fact guards and servants.

“He is a guest asking some questions. If he were a threat, he would have long been dealt with.”

Dooku remained calm and impassive, giving me a curt nod of his head before he turned towards Quinlan. “Rather dangerous for you of all people to come here of all places just to ask questions.”

Dooku didn’t say aloud his actual question. The same question I had as well. Something that the Jedi before us didn’t fail to pick up on.

“Before I answer that, I do have a few more questions. If that’s alright?” He looked between the two of us.

“By all means, I will answer what I can.”

“Why go against the Sith Lord responsible for this? You were a former Sith yourself, and if anything, they are using what others have reported. You may have had a hand in creating this newer Sith order. Why go against that?”

Even Dooku looked interested as he stared alongside Quinlan Vos at me.

“That’s an easy one. Because Darth Sidious is a mouth-breathing moron, for all of his intelligence, he lacks the wisdom necessary to realize the critical flaws in the Rule of Two. Dooku,” I turned towards the possibly former Sith Lord since Sidious had turned his droid army against him.

“Have you realized what that flaw is?”

He stared at me while taking on a pondering expression before, after a long moment, he shook his head. “I cannot think of any flaw in the Rule of Two. It has allowed the Sith to grow to heights they struggled to reach before while ensuring any of the weaknesses of the past were removed if not lessened.”

“While I appreciate the praise, that's what I mean.” My hand waved toward the Count. “Like a womp rat chasing a speeder. It wouldn’t even know what to do with it once it got its paws on one.”

Both were confused, and Dooku was taken aback as if I had just backhanded him.

“I… don't understand.” Quinlan said while trying to grasp what was just said, but he was struggling to connect that with what was said before to my strange statement.

“Let me put it to you like this. The Rule of Two when it comes to conquering is genius. It ensured the Sith had patience, something they had always lacked before, and ensured that the apprentice would surpass their master when they successfully managed to kill them since that would mean they surpassed them in at least one category.”

The two watched as I went into lecture mode. I was oddly thankful for all those lore videos of Star Wars I would listen to while working the night shift in retail to pass the time. One that got played constantly or had similar enough videos was how, despite what the fandom thought of the Rule of Two, it didn’t make the Sith weaker.

If they managed to kill their master, who did everything in their power to prevent that, then they had surpassed them in some form. Like that one Sith Lord who was infamous for being an incredible duelist, only for his apprentice, who knew better than to fight him head-on and instead did it sneakily. Even if the other Sith may not have liked it, it was still valid, and he became a master himself.

“But the weakness of the rule comes into play and ties back into my womp rat analogy, and that is the Sith won’t know what to do once they conquer the galaxy.”

The two merely blinked at the obvious point I was making, with Dooku even looking deep in thought at the revelation.

“For ruling, the Rule of Two will fail. Plus, I hate that a mouth-breathing idiot like Sidious is using it, and the arrogant little bastard is just the type to think he has grown beyond the Sith. I will not allow my name, even if it’s an old one that has been abandoned by me, to be stained by that idiot or the failure of the Rule of Two that none of you were aware of.”

I vented every bit of my anger and disdain towards Darth Sidious and how he would fuck it all up. Sure, he conquered the galaxy, but his empire didn’t last anywhere near as long as it had for previous Sith emperors. Of all the issues their empires suffered from, it sure as hell was mouth-in-foot levels of corruption and stupidity being the penultimate thing that fucked it all up.

Quinlan sat back in his chair before nodding to himself before giving me a cocky smile.

“Sounds good enough for me. Need a hand?”

It was my turn to blink before tilting my head at the Jedi’s words, questioning if I had finally gone mad.

The first one was nice, even if it didn’t bring anything to the table besides a good drink, it wasn’t something I would take for granted. I could use all the stress relievers when shit hits the fan.

The second one was definitely going to be nice when used in combination with my Byakugan or Sharingan.

The last one made me want to throw my hands up. Yet another power that made me look like the bad guy. Fuck it, by this point it is what it is.
