Quick Update

Hi everyone, here’s a quick update with some more info.

Rendering is still in progress; 82 renders are done (they’re taking a long time this time—about 50 minutes per image. And unfortunately, I had to redo 20 of them because of Nina’s hair...). There are ~150 in total—I’m not quite sure yet where I’ll make the cut this time, whether I’ll include a teaser for the update after next or not.

Estimated playtime, depending on your choice:
- The shortest path has about 68 renders. (My quick, pure script read time is about 5 min.)
- The longest path has about 120 renders. (My quick, pure script read time is about 10 min.)

Other stuff:
- I’m currently experimenting a bit with optimizations for Daz Studio. I’ve already managed to speed up scene loading by what feels like 1000%—instead of waiting 10–60 minutes each time, it now takes a maximum of 3 minutes. That saves a massive amount of time.
- If feasible and I still need to test this after the release of V0.0.2.7. I’d like to see if I can simply use Daz Studio 6 for rendering while continuing to work on new scenes in Daz Studio 4.22 at the same time. That would, of course, be extremely convenient.
- “Making Room,” my new, smaller game, is coming along well so far. V0.1 will include about 300–400 renderings, 4 characters, 3 locations, and a playtime of approximately 1 hour.

My rough estimate for the release of “Rise or Fall” V0.0.2.7 is the end of this week, next week, or the week after that at the latest.😅
That's all for now. Until next post with the Game update “Rise or Fall” V0.0.2.7, take care and see you then!
