Hi everyone, I'm making a slight adjustment to how I use Substar. I was trying to use it as a test for a different way to monetise my art by locking x amount exclusive of content behind a monthly paywall. I know the model works well for larger artists with larger followings and better art lol, but I wanted to trial it out for a while and see how it has gone. It hasnt. lol
I have one loyal simp at the exclusive art tier and one other who was here for a lil bit too, though I cant blame them for changing their pledge as it was a real struggle to get quality art out for the tier. So I have opted to make a change.
I'm gonna be using this as a place to post stuff too spicy for patreon, whether it be horse pp, non-consensual tentacles or art taking place in a school environment (regardless of the ages or appearances of the characters). Most of the time I get to draw this type of content is usually through commissions, so I have kept the 15% discount to a monthly commission here as a bonus and as always the nice 69% discount on the nice tier persists too.
All in all nothing changes. LOL but I am making it explicit as to the change in purpose of the platform compared to the failed gated content approach.I'm unsure if I will upload all my content here or just the spicy stuff, as if I am making this focused on spicy art... I'll make another post asking about that after this.
As a thanks for supporting me on here, as opposed to (or including) Patreon, I'll be making the previously exclusive art available on here for 1 week before I post it anywhere else, namely twitter, discord and pixiv.
