How Goth-Girl Will Conquer the World (Lesson 1)

Miss Vesper never bothered with the usual syllabus.
While the rest of the faculty drilled algebra and essay structure, she stood at the front of the classroom in a tight black bustier and pencil skirt, chalk dust on her fingertips and a wicked little smile playing on her dark-painted lips.
“Settle down,” she said, tapping the board with her pencil. The words already written there glowed under the fluorescent lights:
how goth-girls will conquer the world
A few students laughed. Most just stared.
She pushed her glasses up her freckled nose, thick thighs shifting as she leaned against the desk. “Lesson one is simple,” she continued, voice low and amused. “Rule the room. Look like trouble. Make them wonder what happens when the bell rings.”
Outside, the hallway was quiet. Inside, every eye stayed locked on the girl who had already decided the world was hers for the taking.
And the chalkboard? Just the beginning.
