TLDR: Obbi is tired and needs more time ๐ญ. Next month I'll be sharing an extended WIP of the Eilmah + Pigeon scene plus a peek into a new venture: creating queer NSFW games ๐
As many probably know, I have a full time job that is 40 hours a week. It has recently been increased to weekly overtime for the foreseeable future (and has just been absolutely wretched on my mental health). It's rough to stay motivated to create when you have very few hours to yourself after working all day and needing to wake up to do it all again the next... And also needing to take care of all household concerns on your own๐Because of these stressors, I have fallen behind in my usual progress with animations.
A more positive reason I have also fallen behind is because I am learning some new skills in my "free time" so I can ATTEMPT to make a visual novel style game starring Pigeon! If you are in my Discord server, you have seen bits and pieces of this already. For next month I will share more of how that is going, along with an extended WIP of the animation you can expect for September.
I am making no promises that I will be able to complete this game lmao. This is whole new ground for me and I am having a lot of fun in the learning process! It's been very refreshing to enjoy learning new skills again.
If I do ever manage to finish the one I've started, it would probably be quite a while from now, and a rather short playthrough. But my goal is to eventually have a game with all original characters, and lots of boinking ^_^
