In the Shadow of Moonlight, chapter 78 is finished! Huzzah!

This chapter had a lot of excellent detail and gratuitous Sophia-shaming, but lacked in meaningful progress or interesting developments. Her dad does not go after Shadow (showing no reason why), and also lets Sophia go to the dance (despite already being grounded before). So all we get from that is him drinking again and a return to the status-quo. Then we get classmates bullying her and her acting wolfish which curries further mistreatment, nothing new there. Then we get a cute scene with Logan, which has some development for Logan which is nice but also feels hollow, like some kind of wrap-up before he gets dumped in a few chapters. The writing was good and I did enjoy feeling Sophia's emotions through her tough day, but there was nothing substantial to digest after finishing. It was just there. I can see this chapter being useful as part of the whole story, especially to give a breather between intense chapters (Ch 77 prev.), but on its own I am disappointed. I hope this review does not discourage you, as I am still thankful and excited for more of this story :)
TBH, this chapter only exists to address a couple of shortcomings in the story as we enter the final stretch. In an ideal final version, there would be no need for it. I apologize for the lack of any real story development in this one, but hope everything that follows makes up for it!
Thanks for another chapter! The harassment in school keeps piling on even further. Reading stuff like this makes me pretty happy to no longer be in school, hehehe. In addition to the angst and anxiety, the hype for the dance and full moon also keeps building up more and more. Really can't wait for what's about to happen, cause you've obviously been cooking up something big for a while now!
