“We went shopping, ma’am,” K’rra said with a tortured tone.
“Don’t you dare cum without permission,” Kae demanded.
“Please, ma’am…” K’rra breathed. She continued edging herself, desperate to gain her mistress’s approval and find release. Her fingers worked with a mind of their own. Knowing she was close, she slowed down.
“Keep that tempo up,” Kae said. She was enjoying keeping the slave girl on that ragged edge. And if K’rra slipped over it, all the more fun to be had punishing her for not following instructions.
“I don’t know that I can…” K’rra cried.
“You’d disobey an order?”
“No, ma’am,” K’rra winced, her eyes shut, trying to command her body to resist. “If you’d only turn the programming on in the implants… they’d prevent accidental climax…”
Kae leaned forward off the couch and grabbed K’rra by the back of the head. She pulled the slave girl's face close to her own. “Open your eyes and look at me.”
K’rra groaned. She knew what would happen when she did. Forcing her eyes open, she looked into the eyes of her mistress. They were a shade of mahogany, a deep reddish brown. Most of the eyes on Gyth were shades of purple, from lavender to indigo. Brown eyes were exotic, strange, and enticing. K’rra found it difficult to concentrate once she saw those brown human eyes looking deep into her own.
Without that concentration, K’rra felt herself slip over the edge and whisper, “I’m sorry, ma’am.”
She tried to minimize it, but it washed through her, making every muscle tense. Closing her eyes, she floated, feeling the muscles in her stomach flutter as she tried to concentrate on minimizing the length of time the orgasm tore through her, making her float.
Recovering from the otherworldly sensation, K’rra felt Kae’s hand still at the back of her head. Opening her eyes, she saw Kae’s exotic brown eyes still staring into her. K’rra wanted to melt into the woman. When she tried, the hand at the back of her head closed into a fist, grabbing a handful of hair in a tight leash. Her head was pulled back, forcing her to look into the younger woman’s eyes.
“Bad girl,” Kae said. “Why are you always so greedy?”
“My apologies, ma’am. I’m sorry to disappoint you.”
“You are disappointing,” Kae said. “Would you like to earn absolution?”
“Yes, ma’am. Please.”
“What did you do?”
“We only went shopping, ma’am.”
The younger woman’s brown eyes stared into K’rra’s.
“There something else… You’re withholding something. Tell me.”
K’rra knew that Kaster didn’t want Kae to know about the replacement dress. Just thinking about the original white dress made K’rra defiant. It was hers.
“I was disappointed at my Master, ma’am.” K’rra said, then rushed to explain, “A slave should never be disappointed, but I couldn’t help myself.”
“Disappointed about what?”
K’rra paused a moment, wanting to massage the story and make her disappointment less severe, it was an unbecoming emotion for a loyal slave. The hand in her hair gripped tighter, and K’rra blurted out, “We didn’t go to a library, ma’am.”
Kae stared at her a moment, “A library?”
“Yes, ma’am. Master promised we’d go to a library when we had a chance.”
“What do you need at a library?” Kae asked, still staring, trying to understand.
K’rra was flustered. Master used her wonderfully. She had no complaints… but…
“Oh!” Kae said. “You are practically wetting yourself. You have a fetish for libraries?”
“Yes, ma’am,” K’rra admitted.
Kae laughed. “You poor thing. You get all the sex a girl could ever want, but still, you yearn to be taken in a library. What is it that does it for you?”
K’rra blushed violet and whimpered. “It's so deviant, ma’am. It would simply be scandalous at home.”
“You are so deliciously filthy.” Kae stroked K’rra’s head. “Tell you what, slave girl. The next time we are on a planet with one, I will make sure that you are well used in it. Maybe even with both of us.”
K’rra felt weak even thinking about it. Not just one person fucking her on the sly in a library, but with mistress commanding her, telling her what to do, while her Master used her basely. “Stars, thank you, ma’am.”
Kaster returned from the utility room with a new WaveBlade pommel in his hand. Seeing Kae, he asked, “Care to practice your Blade?”
K’rra moved to the side of the room as the other two went through a series of drills. She watched, marveling at their physical prowess, both moving at times with lightning speed. After an hour of choreographed drills, they switched from their Blades to rods about the length of walking canes.
They mock-fought for a while, with Kaster obviously outmatching the younger woman. Again, K’rra was stunned at how quickly they moved, sometimes so fast all she could see was a blur. In most instances Kaster was able to disable Kae, sending her practice blade flying across the room.
“Don’t hold back this time. Use you Focus.” Kaster finally told Kae.
“Unrestricted?” Kae asked.
“Sure… Nothing that can actually injure.”
Kae gave him a wicked smile, and they crossed practice blades. They remained frozen for a moment, then there was a flurry of swings with Kae doing nothing but defending herself.
“Your slave is upset with you,” Kae said after a series of parries, backing away from him.
“She is?” Kaster said with a glance at K’rra.
Kae lunged in, attacking suddenly. Kaster backpedaled defending, taken only a little by surprise. When Kae’s attacks petered out, she said, “You were supposed to take her to a library.”
His gaze flicked back to the kneeling slave who was watching the two. Kae rained down another flurry of blows as Kaster defended trying to regain his balance.
“Her heart’s desire…” Kae said, pressing into Kaster with more attacks at each utterance. “Is for you to have her… defile her… ravage her… in the symbol of her culture’s power. She wants you. Wants you to make her yours. To own her body and soul. Hers, your body. Your body.”
K’rra wasn’t sure what was happening, but Kaster seemed slowed, as if intoxicated. Kae blows were relentless. Finally one struck true, hitting Kaster on the back of the elbow causing his practice sword to fly across the room from his grasp.
Wincing and rubbing his elbow with the mechanical arm, Kaster asked, “Why didn’t you do that when I captured you?”
“I didn’t know what your opening was,” Kae explained as she used her practice sword to flick Kaster’s back to him. “The untrained are easier to manipulate. A Focus user has barriers. I know what yours are now and can bypass them.”
“As a bounty hunter, that could be useful,” Kaster said.
“Yeah?” Kae beamed, happy to hear that someone was interested in her talents.
“Let’s try something,” Kaster said, moving to a workstation. He typed a few commands, and a wanted poster displayed. “Here we go. A high-value space pirate. What openings could you create with this one?”
Kae studied the image and text floating above the terminal. “Hmm… A pirate wanted for piracy, big surprise. Firing on Federated ships, plundering, smuggling, kidnapping, murder, fraud… What hasn’t this scoundrel done?”
“That’s why he’s a high-value target. Nine million credits.” Kaster pointed to the financial section.
“Operates a four hundred tonne ship, crew of at least twentyish who are exceptionally loyal. Obvious muscle grafts, and some scars, probably from a previous physical altercation. He’s obviously a capable warrior even if I don’t see any indication of Focus use. That’s going to be a tough fight right there. How does a pirate get an exceptionally loyal crew?”
“He’s an incredibly successful pirate,” Kaster said.
“And the woman in chainmail behind him?” Kae asked.
“A slave, I think, his favorite maybe?”
“Well, there’s the opening,” Kae said. “If he has something he’s afraid of losing, that will make him hesitate just like you did a moment ago. Your fear, not for yourself, but of losing something you desire, made it easier to disarm you. If nothing else, the Fury’s are on to something by stifling all emotion. Desire is the key to weakness.”
“I was easy?” Kaster said.
“No. Easier.” Kae corrected. “The ship the pirate lost looks new. That might be something he’s afraid to lose. But if he has any emotional ties to the slave, that’s the opening. And frankly, sex is so base, it's an easy in. Is that your next target?”
“Naw. This is just a thought experiment,” Kaster said. He made a few keystrokes, and the wanted poster faded. “How about this one?”
“This isn’t a wanted poster,” Kae said. “It’s an article on one of the vilest warlords in the Coalition.”
“I know,” Kaster said. “This is the man that put a bounty on you.”
Kae’s eyes narrowed, and she skimmed the article. After a few moments, she announced, “Not a fight we can win.”
“Not what I’m asking. What’s his weakness?”
Kae sighed, “Unscrupulous, ruthless, slaver, resourceful, potential federation ties, vengeful, not someone we want to tangle with.”
“Too late, you already have.”
“I’d still avoid this one. As a thought experiment, though, what’s he afraid of losing? There’s no mention of family. There are no pictures of reoccurring lieutenants, slaves, or loved ones. No quotes about cherished homes, items, or anything. He’s hiding his desire.”
“And yet, there must be something.”
Kae looked dubious but continued skimming articles, “He started with nothing. Rapid rise to warlord status. Betrayed his former boss and took over their empire. I think I’ve got it. His desire is power. Unchecked, he will not just be a warlord in the Coalition. He’ll be the warlord.”
“Hmm, agreed,” Kaster said. “If you had an audience with him, could you make him pause? Make him slip up?”
“I think so,” Kae said after a pause. “But this is a guy that’s going to have an army of bodyguards. If I’m ever that close to him, I’m probably already dead. This is the one we deliver my sister to?”
“That’s the plan.” Kaster said.
