Fundraising raffle?
Seems that I am not going to be able to afford a replacement card. Things are just way too expensive with all the nonsense with mining, AI and in some cases tariffs.
So, I am thinking of running a fundraiser raffle.
Fundraiser is going to be for a custom mouse pad.
I am thinking of a "standard" size mouse pad. Standard size is up for a debate, but it's likely to be around 12x10 inches or there abouts.
The mousepad is going to be a cloth pad with embroidered edges. So, no cheap crap. From the estimates I've looked into the value of the pad is going to be $50+. Depending on the company. The image on the pad is going to be an SFW image. It will contain a personalized "Thank you" message. Meaning, I will use your name in the message.
The image on the mousepad is going to be a custom image the winner of the raffle will decide on (do remember that it has to be SFW, thanks).
The delivery of the mousepad will take about a month (depending on the company I make it with and where the winner is living) and the costs of shipping will be covered by me. The cost of entry into the raffle will be US$2 for a ticket, with possible discounts for multiple entries. I will run the raffle through a specialized website, so the winner will be picked by a computer, not me.
What do you guys think?
