Chapter 74 of In the Shadow of Moonlight is here, right now, attached to this post!
The drama! The shock! The betrayal! This is shaping up to be an excellent last act for book one. I have my predictions... but which will come true? There is real risk in the story now.. not for the characters but for the readers. Will we get the romantic moonlit wolf sailor moon transformation we dream of? It's not so certain anymore, and I think that is Awesome!!!

Even after all that this book has led us through narratively, there is still a well written backstory in Act 3. I find this mystery of Sophia's mom really interesting, especially when she calls the wolf in Sophia's art "him". That caught my eye immediately. Well done sir.

Still so many uncertainties... And so many questions about her mother. She clearly knew something was up. This is by far the most tense part of the story so far. In a way it feels kind of unreal and almost out of character for Sophia to want to completely reverse course. But given this revelation it's hard not to. But something tells me she won't bring herself to do so. The next full moon will be insane.
I'll admit it does feel a little out of character for Sophia. Unfortunately, her relationship with her mother was something I should have introduced in the very first chapter, but those aspects weren't developed until I was quite far into the story. It's something I very much intend to address in a second draft.
