Patch - Kibō: Slow Fall
Hello, Corrupted Soul,
I have noticed that some of you have encountered a "black screen" problem when playing a video (either during gameplay or directly on the launch screen).
Your humble servant conducted some tests with a kind soul on Discord, and we finally found the source of the problem: it's codec-related.
I was using VP9 by default to encode the video files, which is directly responsible for this persistent issue.
In this patch, I changed the codec for all video files, switching from VP9 to VP8.
DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE PATCH ❓
- If you do not have the described video related issue with the game as-is, NO ❌
- If you do, YES ✅
WHERE CAN I GET THE PATCH IF NEEDED❓
- All links have been updated to integrate the patch:
- The public version of KSF V1.0.0 and the patch can be download on my Itch.io.
- If you bought: KSF - Complete Edition, the link is updated to include the Patch.

I apologize for not having seen it sooner, but performing a test without a specific error message other than "it doesn't work" is a real challenge for me.
HOW TO DEPLOY THE PATCH 📝
You'll find the instructions, in text format, in each case.
Basically, you just need to replace all the files in the: videos/movies folders with the modified ones.
(You can also do it yourself by manually re-encoding all the files, but good luck with that!)
