The Android downloader is finally done. π
It's still a bit experimental while we gather more testing and feedback, but it's working exactly as intended. This means Android players can now enjoy the game at full quality, with zero compression. Fair warning, thoughβthe file size will be the same as the PC version. There's no magic trick around that one.

How it works:
You'll need to uninstall your current Android build and install the new downloader instead. Before you uninstall, back up your saves. Don't skip that step for your own sanity. Once installed, open the app and let it download the main game data. After that, it should launch automatically. From there, you're good to go. Full quality, no compromises, straight on mobile.

Starting with the next update, I'll be discontinuing support for the compressed Android builds and sticking exclusively with the downloader going forward.
To make this possible, I had to update my Ren'Py to a newer version, so I went ahead and rebuilt the PC versions using it as well. The download links have been updated below for anyone who wants to migrate early to Ren'Py 8.5.2. Your saves should carry over without issues. I haven't run into any game-breaking problems so far.
If anything weird pops up, let me know. Otherwise, enjoy the upgrade.
