Dev Update #331

Happy New Year, everyone!

I hate getting older, and I'm not a fan of years passing by, but as 2025 wasn't that good for me, I'm kind of happy to put it behind me. Let's just hope that 2026 will be better. The holidays are almost over. Family is leaving, and the turmoil of the festivities has come to an end. We can now go back to work. Let's talk rework.

V0.6.7r

This update will contain 2 reworked scenes. Scenes 4 and 5 of Day 2. Both scenes are quite bad. The script for these two scenes is horrendous and lacks finesse and refinement. The visuals are fairly bad and based on old sets that I edited and upgraded since then (the kitchen and the swimming pool area). The rework is much needed. As always, reworking these old scenes is about leveling up the quality while keeping the same story, the same options, and the same direction. I already have some ideas for both the script and the visuals. I hope to be done with it rather quickly.

Next week.

I'm almost done with refactoring the achievement screen, and I should be able to rewrite Day 2 Scene 4, maybe even start posing it before the end of the week. I do not have any hard limits in terms of quantity of content, but I don't think that either Day 2 Scene 4 or Day 2 Scene 5 will grow bigger than about 3000 words and a hundred renders each.

The quick sum up :

  • V0.6.7r will contain 2 reworked scenes: Day 2 Scene 4 and Day 2 Scene 5.
  • I'm working on correcting v0.6.7 and refactoring some code.
