What began as desire and defiance slowly collapsed into silence, guilt, and consequences no one was ready to face.

Sophie learns about Nick—through a message she never wanted to read. The weight of that moment hits harder than anger ever could.Questions flood in. Regret follows. And blame finds a familiar target.

Around her, everything feels suddenly different. The rushed departure. The tension in the house. The arguments.

The "innocent" games.

...all this no longer feel childish, but dangerous.

This chapter closes not with answers—but with fractures.

Some visible. Some just beginning to show.
