Lighthouse (Poem) V4 by StickyScribbles

Be a lighthouse, sea baby.

Some of us have a rough start.

No need to raid people's expeditions.

Deflecting blame steers ships to jagged rocks.

A fatal current tearing hulls apart.

It is okay to reveal your weakness.

To find a way from darkness, to chart a fresh start.

Beware sharing your vulnerable heart with mutinous crew.

They can strangle potential, where envy quickly rots.

We all could have sailed in a fleet together.

No need to unravel others at the seams.

Salivating pirates seek easy plunder near the harbor.

But fume when others are shielded by wisdom and fortified dreams.

They may cut others down into a thousand pieces.

Inevitably some will sink, while others float to the top.

Drowned men do not make for good teammates.

So lend a helping hand, be a beacon in the night.

While pirates sabotage others to twist what's wrong and right.
