Some things just don't belong in this world I guess.
This is some craaaazy world building, and if i'm being honest, it feels SUPER out of nowhere. Up until this point it was basically our world but with cute furry mammals replacing people, now suddenly there are arachnid bots that can intelligently clean and what i can only assume are MHA quirk inspired sparks which i assume to be powers. Its a lot for a couple panels a whole story in. I mean don't get me wrong its totally believable we dodged all this in the first story, it just feels a little sudden, almost left turnish?
It's fair to call it out of left field. There were some hints in the office scene from the first comic, but it certainly wasn't a focus. But it's important to take the polar bear plunge now to lay groundwork for what's coming next, and the setting will be playing an increasingly prominent role the longer we stay in this setting.
