(Quick note: An existing v1.0 save file could contain paths to images that since have been moved to a different location, causing them to appear as plain white boxes. If you switch to any image of the effected characters through buying an upgrade or just manually selecting with the arrow next to any upgrade, it will go away. The same might apply to the background image. Sorry for the inconvenience for those effected.)

when I opened it up all the normal characters bring up a white screen
Thanks for the feedback. I managed to replicate that. It seems to be because of the 1.0 save file containing paths to images that since have been moved to a different location. If you switch to any image of the effected characters through buying an upgrade or just manually selecting with the arrow next to any upgrade, it will go away. The same might apply to the background image.
