However, when I started getting set up to come back, working on development for a planned erotic horror comic, I learned of the policy changes that Subscribestar announced back in March. While I see these changes have since been reverted, as indicated in the edited version of the "What's New" post, Subscribestar's wording suggests this was a decision made because of "ambiguous" phrasing rather than because of any intention to allow the sharing of fiction involving dark subject matter long-term.
This is a problem for me, given I made this account specifically in response to Patreon instating its own restrictive policies around adult content.
As things currently stand, I am intending to give it a few weeks and then delete this account. I'm reluctant to maintain an additional, specialized account if I don't know when a large portion of the content I made it for to begin with will suddenly be prohibited.
In the meantime, I intend to start posting my backlog again on other sites. All finished 18+ content, including gore, will be going up over time on my FurAffinity (my account is only viewable if you're logged in, but it is completely free); tamer 18+ content, including hi-res versions and sketches I don't post publicly, will be posted to my Patreon again.
