April | Blog - Another Temporary Suspension of Super Nightmare

Due to my class assignments taking up a bit more time than I'd like, and other things, next month I'll temporarily suspend the Super Nightmare ($32) tier until June. You shouldn't have to do anything on your end, you (hopefully) won't get charged until then so you don't need to unsubscribe.

After I finish Mismagius P3, for the next comic I will try to work on one of the commission comics in the backlog, since there are a total of 2 now. I haven't drawn vore before, so it might take me a bit to figure it out. There's also a regular image commission in waiting, so I'll probably end up doing that before the comics though. Class work is cutting into my time to work on these, but the semester ends around next month.

Random Subscriber Poll:

The previous one seemed to be alright, so I might do it again in the future. There's quite a few sketches in purgatory, so options aren't very limited. I opted to avoid adding any Aster drawings in the poll list (I still use that character for random drawing experiments from time to time because old habits die hard) for more "wider audience" pickings. Some of the drawings are incredibly odd (compared to what I usually draw) so I would need to work up the courage to post them anyway (some of them are already finished, I just never posted them).

Health:

Nothing really new to report. They brought out the ultrasound machine without a fuss this time, but they still had to stab me twice to get the IV running. I think I am just unlucky.

I also went to the dentist. I will not mention what happened there. Unrelated Note: I still have all my wisdom teeth.

Dad's Health:

He's doing OK still. On the 19th we went into the ER due to concerns of one of his drainage bags draining blood, but the doctors determined it was fine so he was able to go back home after taking some blood samples. He's being scheduled for a minor surgery at the end of the month.

Other (Mostly Video Game):

I played the video game Look Outside; it is an RPGmaker game about a phenomenon going on outside your apartment that causes any living thing who observes it to transform in strange ways, which makes most turn into hostile monsters. I enjoyed it quite a bit and it took me about 17 hours (according to Steam) to get most of the endings. I heard the dev wanted to add more to it, so I am waiting a bit before I do a fresh playthrough for endings I couldn't get with my split saves. There are way more potential party members than I thought there would be.

I am unsure how I feel about the save system in Normal Mode. I think an option to partially include Easy's save mode (only save at your apartment but you don't need to explore in dangerous areas to "earn" a save) with Normal's difficulty would be my ideal experience (I played on Normal Mode). The game also could have used some adjustments to how the music plays in some encounters: "friendly" encounters will usually use the standard battle music for a bit before changing its mind, and some of those that you make hostile will usually not switch music over which kind of ruins the mood, and some don't even have music at all. There's also a bit of a balance problem where once you get a full party, the game's difficulty (for the most part) goes out the window, though I think the dev wants to address this later. Hellen is the best party member (she got nerfed slightly after I typed this, but she's still my wife).

I also bought another simple keyboard, but the backspace didn't work most of the time, so I will continue to use the old one. It was only ~$20 so I'm not too annoyed. Most of the budget probably went into making the "gamer" lights on it that everything seems to have these days that I can't escape. The one I've been using for about a decade at this point was like ~$35, so I guess all the quality is stored in that extra $10.

Thank you for the support.
