Spoors: Zeke & His So-Called Pet (+Timelapse) I decided that I should introduce the animals/creatures that will be appearing in my project Spoors! This concept explores into Zeke's neighborhoods and their inhabitants. The feline here, a Serval Cat, is technically well known to Zeke as it tends to appear every once in a while for him to watch its behavior and on occasion interact with him mostly due to wanting to eat what he has on him. It's actually not his pet, but after being familiar with it appearing and being told on occasion by strangers that it would get defensive with anyone but him, he decided to name him and passively accept that others have claimed it was his pet.
Most of Zeke's area is known to have a low number of domestic animals, due to the area being more populated with wild animals/creatures that would hunt them down, so pets like that aren't considerable to have unless they're the wild ones or strictly indoor ones. On occasion, some tend to get lucky to tame them well enough to keep them around and let them wander about, just like this Serval Cat here, or keep them around their living quarters. They're known to help provide a mutual service of getting rid of pests or dead anthros that the society couldn't handle due to rising costs in pest and burial services, and preventing burial overall to avoid attracting other wild animals/creatures that could unbalance what they currently have. It has been known that societies maintaining a coexistence between anthros and animals in this manner are flourishing for its natural resources and methods, while there are those that look down on it as poor communities with no sense of control. For this area, they'd prefer to keep the practice as a part of their tradition, especially for the old folk around.
Animals that are occasionally found are Caracals, Hyenas, Honey Badger, Mongooses, Eagles, Vultures, small vermin (like Rats, Coyotes, Snakes, Cockroaches, etc.), and on rare occasions, Elephants, big cats (like the Lions/Lionesses, Leopards, Cheetahs, etc.), Rhinoceroses, Zebras, and Giraffes. I still have yet to gather up an actual list, but these are more likely to appear!
Hope you guys like this one and I'll be looking to make more concepts like these when I get the time to!
