Dev-Blog and Roadmap for 2025

Hello there everyone, 
The first thing I would like to do is to apologize to you all for the lack of progress and content in January. For those who have followed me on my Discord-Server might have noticed that I got some important and difficult privat things to do during this time. With now slowly regaining my motivation to work on the game I like to introduce you to my goals for 2025 with the game.
#-- Version 0.14 (Release: February 2025) 
  • Finishing the Story for Chapter 1
  • Adding new Recipes for Cooking
  • Reworking “Skie’s Dairy” in the game to replay more sequences.
#-- Version 0.2 (Release: April 2025)
  • Reworked Skill and EXP-System
  • Ability to Inflate with more common elements. (Normal Air, Normal Water...)
#-- Version 0.21 (Release: Summer 2025)
  • More collectibles and Minigames.
    • For Example:
    • Collection Bugs from Common to Rare exchanging them for EXP/Money/Friendship.
    • Collection Slimes from Common to Rare and Farmholding them for EXP/Money.
    • Collection Rare Seeds (Fliegenpilz-Seed)
#-- Version 0.22 (Release: Autumn 2025)
  • Friendship System (Give presents to Villagers to unlock new Sequences)
#-- Version 0.3 (Release: Christmas 2025)
  • Start of Chapter 2
 When you are looking at this list you might notice that there are no new “Stories” or “Chapters”. This is because I realized one of the most important lessons I have learned during my education as a professional game developer: A game should be fun even without a story. So I am focusing more on gameplay and expanding the gameplay-loop with new elements. 2024 I have aimed to provide at least 10h of Story driven gameplay which I failed. So I am trying to reach the 10h of Gametime in a different way this time. “Story” is something I can still add later when the general gameplay is more fun. However, I am still an artist and not a full “Scripter” or “Programmer” this means I need to draw something. So there will still be some new inflation-sequences during these updates. But I will skip the Main Story.

Let's take a closer look what I am hoping to archive for each point on this list: 
#--0.14—---------------------------------------------------------
 A classic Update with some new areas, new riddles and Quests.

#--0.2—---------------------------------------------------------
A lot of values are moving the various RPG-Maker values. Like turning the HP-Value to a BreastSize-Value or using the “Strength”-Value do calculate your walking Speed when carrying Water. This will also allow adding magical Items like a Strength-Ring in this case. This will of course change how skills are working and a lot of code rewriting will be needed. But in the end I guess it will give the player more overview of his stats. What also will be added is a general “Level”-System. You will gain normal EXP from the RPG-Maker engine which will grant you levels. With each level up you will get Skills points which will allow you to learn skills freely. The current system where you get SkillPoints from Quests will be expanded with giving you the “General”-EXP as well. In the end this means you will get more Skill-Points. But Skills will be changed to fit this and the AP might get removed from Quests only available from normal LevelUps. There will be a lot of Balancing going on. So I am expecting a long testing period. This update is aiming for making the game more “Ready” for future updates to give it a better flexibility of stats as well.

This update will be an answer to the critics outside of my usual places where people are saying that the game is “Boring as hell”. It will provide new gameplay elements like I have mentioned on my Discord-Server in the “Suggestion”-Thread. (Collectibles, Slime-Stable, Minigames) 

#--0.22—--------------------------------------------------------- 
A “Friendship”-System is a huge Part of such “Cozy-Farming Simulation” and a big part of the Endgame content. Give “Food” or other rare objects away as a present to an NPC to earn some Friendship-Points. Once they are high enough you unlock new inflation Sequences with them. Or maybe get married to him/her…well that’s something for the far future.

This update will finally provide a new area to explore and to continue the main story. Skie gets a letter from her Father that she needs to return home for a few days to clear a few things up. Progress in “Lym” will be stopped once you have entered this area. The setting will be completely different. Since “Inflation” is forbidden, Skie has to do it secretly. Overall, the area should provide a more “Difficult”-Lym with bigger rewards. However when you get back to “Lym” you can visit this place “Randomly” again. Think about it as: Get Discovered Lose one “Life”. When you have no “Lives” left return to “Lym”. Skie will get a new special Outfit only for this area!

Well, that’s it for now. I hope this will give you a small overview of what is about to come next. I am hoping to add everything during this year like I have written but when something difficult is happening in my life it can be delayed…this is still a “One Man-Project” and there are times where I am not able to work on it.
