Well that wouldn't be correct either. Sometimes we do more updates during month (but they are smaller) where setting it in stone for exactly 2 updates would not reflect that, and sometimes we have less updates in which case after about a 3-6 weeks we release it for free anyway regardless of new release to make it more fair and balanced, to ensure waiting is not insanely high and overall our goal is to make more smaller updates that will decrease the waiting time to like 2-4 weeks.

Right after we release 0.29 - Ashley update we will shift the previous 2 releases. It will happen in a few days.
Then change the super early access to say "get the release 2 updates before everyone else"

Yes. Also new version will automatically locate save files so you won't lose any progress. There is no automatic updating system at the moment.
All you have to do is just download new game version, and if you are on desktop unzip it and play.
