October | Blog | +1 Super Hard Slot and $12+ Tier Policy Adjustment

Next month, I'll have another Super Hard ($12) slot open. Like last time, I'll open it around 8 PM Central on the 1st of the month. As for the policy adjustment on the $12+ tiers: I am adding a rule that if you do not provide me with a request or respond within 2 months, I will put you in another tier (at a 100% discount) indefinitely to free up one of the limited slots. If you're unable to respond for a long period of time, please let me know beforehand. As far as I am aware, I can't actually remove people from subscribing completely, so this was the next best solution I found. If you do finally come back, I'll still give the drawings owed for the missing months, and I'll have to ask you to remove yourself from the hidden "Jail" tier.

Again, apologies for taking so long on it. I'd like to finish it by the end of the month, but it does not appear to be likely I will. I underestimate how long my class work for the semester takes sometimes.

I started using my Bluesky account. I don't have any attachment to my lurker account on there, so I am using the main account to like and follow people. I have DMs disabled because I am really bad at talking to strangers, so forgive me if you're a mutual who wanted to talk. The image quality on the website is horrible, so I still recommend looking at my Itaku for my artwork, but I can actually post things like links in my messages without its visibility getting destroyed.

Also, if SubscribeStar and Itaku are not working for you, I now allow Bluesky for Commission/SubscribeStar related DMs since it seems like I can keep them open per person if I have an active conversation with that person. Just let me know beforehand what your name is.

Health

My colonoscopy is scheduled for the 21st of November. They decided to give me a different prep medication this time since the insurance would cover it; supposedly, it tastes like Minute Maid Lemonade. I was told the previous medication tastes like Ultra Salty Kool-Aid, which was accurate (I've used it for the previous 2 or so colonoscopys), so hopefully it won't be as bad this time. However, it being lemonade flavored reminds me of when I had to take colonoscopy prep medication in the hospital back in 2018, which did not go well and I failed to finish it in time. I then had to try all over again and I opted to not use the lemon flavoring. I'd rather not think about that again, as I was in the hospital for several weeks that year.

Other

I ordered my upgraded RAM, but I forgot the carrier (USPS) they chose is completely unable to find my house (because I don't have a box outside, probably), so it was returned to the sender. If I noticed it a day sooner, I probably could have picked it up at the post office like I did many years ago when I ordered God Hand for the PS2. I'll have to order it again when it finishes processing.
