I've been curious for a while to do some YCH auctions. I know that my current commissions are very open-ended, which can be a little intimidating. I'm also still fairly new to commissions, and I've had to guess at how to price things. A YCH auction seems like a good way to experiment in different directions and to get a sense of how much critters are willing to pay for art this stuff.
But because I'm new to this kind of commission, I don't know what critters would be interested in. That's where you come in! X3 I've made a number of sketches that I think would make interesting commission projects. If there are any that you think would be a good place to start, or that you would be interested in, or that you think other floofs would be interested in, please let me know, either by voting or commenting <3
The drawings below are only sketches. Depending on feedback, if I decide to go with any of them I'll clean them up, fix some errors, and then publish them as open auctions once I've done so :3
Most likely unless there's a lot of interest in something else, the first YCH I try will be either Vaporeon, Last Ride, or Having Fun. My tentative plan for the base commissions is to open up one auction slot on Inkbunny, Furaffinity, and Aryion. So each commission (with the exception of Vaporeon, since I've been avoiding posting Pokemon on FA) would have 3 slots, each with their own website to bid on.
These are only tentative plans, if you have suggestions or feedback.. again, let me know :3
My preference will always be disposal but I also voted for vaporeon and top or bottom because I think they would make for a fun ych in general :3 Pokemon is super popular so you might get some intrest from them :3 and top or bottom just seems fun <3 I'd personally only get "one by one" myself but I do think the others are good choices :3
The other 2 are still great and would be fun :3 The others are just more my thing <3
Not helpful but I think they're all good ideas that you could at least keep in a back pocket. One by One especially I think is a great YCH. Allows us to get in without worrying to have to get paired or a character not working.

One by One does seem to be the idea that's getting the most traction. I'll have to think about how to handle it and how many slots it would make sense to do.. I could do something like separate into shelves and add row whenever there are enough requests to fill it?
I love rapey hyenas (Their clan hierarchy is brutal, and I think it's interesting that this picture could work with either a male or female hyena, because of their anatomy). I have to agree that "one by one" is my favourite though.It makes me think that I ought to come up with my own OC
What I'm thinking I'm going to do is offer one-by-one in November as its own thing, alongside one of the first three (Vaporeon, Having Fun, Last Ride) as a traditional auction. I'm still not sure which of those I'll do.
One by One is definitely the piece that floofs are most interested in, but having never done a regular YCH I'm honestly just curious to see how it would go. There's definitely enough interest to justify to me taking the time to clean up and offer One by One though.
Top or Bottom has gotten a lot of interest but I'm not sure if that's from critters who think that it would be a good YCH, or if it's from critters who just want to see Mal having some fun with some bunnies X3 I think I'll hold off on that for now, it just feels very narrow to me.
