There are some fancy pants artists out there that say shading with black is bad. But they're wrong because it's realistic. But I see their point, so to appease them - and to mix things up a little - I will be doing dynamic shading on some panels. Red dominant shading for warm scenes (right) and blue dominant shading for cold scenes (left).
