September | Blog Post - 1st-of-month poll suspension and Super Easy/Nightmare Adjustment
I mentioned this earlier, but next month I am going to temporarily stop the 1st of the month polls due to my backlog growing very large. I'll continue the subscriber only polls, at the very least. Now that I'm also starting to get more commissions, I'm definitely sure I'll not be able to keep up with 2 polls per month (I know, I was already behind). Most likely I will change how I do the 1st of the month polls in the future; probably to something irregular when I don't have a big backlog or something smaller in scope.
SubscribeStar General
I'm going to enable the Super Nightmare tier again, so that should be active next month. I won't add any extra slots of it for now since I need to work on this backlog (I have a commission nearing the deadline too), but hopefully after next month or so I'll go back to 2 SN slots. As for the tier adjustments, Super Easy ($2) can now put in poll requests for the subscriber-only poll (for the 14th) and Super Nightmare ($30) is slightly adjusted so the poll slot isn't guaranteed, starting next month. If I get more than 4 requests, the options will be voted on and then the top 4 (ties determined by preference) will get added to a real poll afterward. I almost received 0 poll requests this month, so I'd hope this gets me some more next month.
In other news, I am still missing 1 August request (also September) and haven't received a message back, so for that Subscriber, I have put them on an indefinite 100% discount until I get messaged back. I don't want to charge you if you're not actually there.
Google Form
I wanted to try the google form option since I hoped that would make it easier to put in requests. The Super Hard form received 2 while the poll received 0. I'll continue to use it again next month and see how that turns out.
Commissions
I've started to get several Pixiv Requests now, so I made a visual guide to my commission prices. https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/122552005 . I'd probably put simple Pixiv Requests on high priority right now due to how Pixiv handles payouts (until around the very end of the month).
Health
Still OK. The infusion was rather quick this time. I thought my GI doctor's appointment was this month, but it's actually next month. It somehow ended up on the same day as my next infusion, so I'll probably need to reschedule it. I get really tired and don't want to do anything for the rest of the day after an infusion.
Other
I can request a payout next month, and I'll have some Pixiv Request money later in the month as well, so hopefully I'll be able to upgrade my RAM (16->32). Afterward, I'd really like to replace my keyboard. This one was pretty cheap (like $25), but it lasted me a good while. A lot of the letters have started to fade out and it has a tendency to ghost. I think it's been with me ever since I started playing PSO2 on the JP servers back around 2014.
Thank you for the support.
