World of Ruen - The Ebonwood

The Ebonwood is an experimental illustration and comic project following a journey into a vast and magical forest to discover what lives within. As our characters make their way to their destination, a series of choices must be made, and these choices will be decided by the audience! Take the safe way or the quick way, talk to that strange creature hiding in the bushes, or decide to eat some local 'food', the story will evolve from what you vote for.
Content Warnings:
The Ebonwood will largely focus on transformation.
Depending on how the story unfolds, it may also contain:
  • Nudity
  • Mild Sexual content
  • Mild Violence, blood
  • Horror themes
  • Possession ,loss of control of body or mind
  • And other mature themes.

Leila, 24
A brand new Inquirer from a local branch of The Institute of Mist and Magical Phenomena, Leila wishes to survey The Ebonwood as her first contribution to her field of research. 
The magic forest has gone without official observations for over a century due to its remote location and difficult terrain, but she is determined in her quest.
Oru-Takan, 23
A hellhound who recently left his post as a sentry to take up work alongside his long-time friend Leila.
Despite his soft heart and dislike of violence, he is skilled at fighting and defense, and travels along with Leila to make sure she won't stumble into any harm.
Rolf-Takan, 38
A hunter and trader from R'sail; Rolf claims to have been inside The Ebonwood before, and has offered to guide the two researchers for the sake of his nephew Oru.
He speaks little about himself or his work.
