Hello. My (pen) name is Albiverse D. Harem.

The Albiverse part comes from what I ended up calling the wider space my stories exist in... basically my brain. No, this will not be some multiverse thing, but my brain demands I categorize stuff and so this happened.

The D. is one big One Piece reference. Love that show, have done so since catching a random episode on TV. I attribute my love for (ungodly) long-term storytelling to this series.

Finally, to explain the Harem part of my pen name... No, that one is obvious.

Like so many others, it is my dream to write stories. Several twists of fate have led me to the (western) Harem genre as described by the communities on Reddit and Facebook.

One man. Several women.

No swinging. No cucking (within the harem). No cheating (within the harem after joining the harem). The MC has to be a man, not a futanari. He is only allowed to bed women (or creatures with a female form... think non-gendered slimes who take the shape of women), not men or anything else. Those types of relationships have different genres to thrive and exist in.

There are more and more stories available that cater to this Harem Fantasy niche, and I wish to add to the richness of this subgenre.

For the time being, this is but a hobby, so the three chapters per week (plus one NSFW chapter) are all I can really manage. Who knows? Perhaps we can grow this into something big.

Basically what happened to me was Royal Road refusing my submission even after dozens of attempts for sexual content. That means they feared one of two things: Either my sexual descriptions would include illegal acts like incest or bestiality (which I didn't include or even elude to), or there would be too much sex (which I ruled out from the start, because of course I would). After pondering over the most intricate wording of my chapter for a while, I finally realized that they feared I would post too much sexual content for their site. To avoid that nonsense for now and in the future (I also post on less NSFW-friendly sites like Tapas), I decided to separate the NSFW chapters entirely and put them behind a paywall as an extra perk.

That is easy. Skip all the x.5 chapters. The even numbers are SFW, while the NSFW chapters are marked as .5 and with heart emojis ♥♥♥. I understand the desire to skip out on endless sex. I wrote the sex chapters in a way as to add to the overall experience of the story, but also to be entirely optional for those who want to read the next proper chapter.

Patreon is rather strict with... let's call them weird kinks. Like incest. I cannot deny my interest in maybe some day trying to write stuff like that, and I need a solid platform to support my writing when that time comes. So, aside from the more commonly used Patreon, I offer the same perks on SubscribeStar until I mayhaps decide to tackle what Patreon rightfully decided they didn't want on their platform. To each their own. That is their right. It is a hobby, but also an exciting opportunity. Basically, I forced myself not to expect anything, but to hope for the world. Supporting me would bring me closer to paying my artists, first and foremost. They do such an outstanding job, and I would love to make use of their services more frequently. The editing would probably come next, until at some distant goal I could actually live off of my writing. For the time being, that is but a pipe dream, though.
