Prompt Guidelines
Prompts are short story requests. The written story will typically be 700-900 words.
-If I am not comfortable writing your short story prompt, or it can potentially violate SubscribeStar Terms of Service, I will make suggestions on modification or request a new prompt.
-Deadline for prompting is 5 days before the end of your subscription period. (Ie, if your subscription is 15 December - 15 January, prompt request should be sent by 10 January). Late prompts will be rejected.
-Again, I can reject prompts for any or no reason, and request a different one.
-Sex scenes will be excluded from prompts.
-Prompts are offered to people who are actually in the "Prompt" tier, not to people who submit a custom pledge, as the Prompt tier has limited spots.
-Please do not take a spot in the Prompt tier and fail to request a prompt, as this impacts other patrons who were looking forward to reading about your idea as well as patrons who want to be in the tier.
-Prompt requests/descriptions should typically be limited to 75 words.
-The short story will be written as closely to your request as possible, within the limits of word constraints. Patrons should have no expectation that I will invest time to research particular/esoteric information for any prompts.
-I do not brainstorm for prompts, as this can be time-consuming. Unless given specific requirements, I will just wing it.
-When you submit an idea to me, you are requesting for me to write it, and you are not entitled to any compensation if I agree to write said story.
-After one year of being in this tier, I may have to ask you to take 3 months off to give other patrons the opportunity to subscribe to this tier. Afterwards, you are welcome to subscribe again whenever a spot becomes available.
-I will try my best to send reminder messages, but if you subscribe to this tier, and fail to submit a prompt request by the deadline, you will not be allowed to subscribe to this tier again for 6 months.
Thank you so much for all your support and understanding.
