Weekly Update 5/12

Heya Hiya Friends,

First of all, where the hell is the month going? Feels like it wasn't so long ago I was thinking of the month as having "just started". But here we are on the 12th. Woof.

Anyway, the week has seen the weather turning very hot/cold so I've been under the weatherish. But I managed to get some good stuff done this week. Let's talk about it.

What I've Done This Week

First, I've started the commission featuring the vulpera and Fiona and the link for that will be posted to Subscribers early next week. I've only got the first scene written which was an attempt at writing a conversation under the stress of a dangerous situation. I know that's vague but it'll be released openly when it's done and subscribers will get to preview it starting monday.

I didn't get a chance to do much about my other cute commission, but it will tie in to events going on in my roegadyn's life and the polycule she finds herself in. So I'm veyr excited to share that when I start it.

I did write a continuation to Retainer's Fee that is posted here and on Subscribestar due to planned adult content, a cute story featuring the DnD version of my kitsune, and a very cute adventure story about a lesbian elf. That last one is scheduled to release on the 20th since it will be read on Deathday, an annual event celebrated and hosted by my old WoW guild. (See Post below)

So here's my planned workload for next week.

Commission Work (Vulpera story and FFXIV story)
Continuation of Laced Up, Beat Down
Trade/Collab story I'm doing for a friend who's offered to add my OC into an image they've commissioned
A Gift story for Gill the Gnome
Something self-indulgent

Now, because I'm setting more realistic and healthy goals for myself (especially since I want to find some remote work), I doubt I'll get to all of these this coming week. BUT, it's nice tos et goals for myself.

What'cha Playing?

So, this weekend, I'm planning to sit down and grind out cards in Library of Ruina and really build the dream decks that I need. I"m coming at a challenging part of the game where I can't just headbutt my way into the wall and expect to win. Plus, I want to make better progress.

I'm also playing a lot of fighting games lately since I don't need my eyes in quite the same way that I would while reading text in an RPG. Right now my favorites are SF6, Granblue, and Strive, though I hope to pick up Tekken 8 when I have my own copy and I'm not playing it on family share.

Beyond that, I'm spending time between Dragon Quest XI and Pathfinder: WOTR to scratch that single player rpg itch that I get sometimes. Though I"m hoping to make more time for FFXIV RP because i miss my OCs very dearly and I'm not likely to go back to warcraft.

Anything Else Going on?

Honeslty, nothing that's worth reporting. I'm still streaming on twitch. I'm still trying to get ahead. Because I still want to be able to move to MN to be closer with friends and to start my transition. I'll get there, even if, sometimes, it feels so far away.
