Your life so far has been a bit of a mess. Your mother passed at your birth and before you were even a teenager your father had abandoned you. Your estranged grandparents were rich, but were terrible guardians. While you had dreams and memories of blood, whispers and voices, you faced the world as normally as you could.
While you prepared for the next steps of life and into adulthood, at university, your grandparents unexpectedly passed in a terrible boating accident. While you had a good inheritance you felt a yearning to return to the city where you had grown up.
A revered university there offers interesting courses and a more personal lecturer experience. It sounded good, and when you saw the house you grew up in had a room to rent, you couldn't help but feel like it was destiny calling you home.
But returning back to that house would start you on a path you never believed would have been possible...
