Februpony 2024 D4 - Friendship Lesson
this might be the best episode there is in mlp, ITS NOT. THERES ONLY VERY FEW ONES THAT GO ABOVE THIS ONE THO.
i can't tell yall how much i really appreciate that we actually got to see princesses celestia and luna acting like actual siblings. not only as someone who has a sibling, but as a woman who has a sister, i can very much relate to their petty little arguments and their really big fights, even though me and my sister arent princesses :P
even tho the series took its time to actually deliver with their genuine sisterly bond, i think it was incredibly well done, ESPECIALLY because there was no way that celestia and luna never fight - in fact, we know they have fought because of the whole nightmare moon thing, just because luna was reformed it doesnt mean that they'd never fight again, and i love that we get to see them act like normal ponies
with all that said, I KNOW that Starlight's audacity to just SWAP their cutiemarks would have been met with her getting vored by one of the princesses instead of by acceptance and compliance with her plan, and celestia wasn't about to vore the insolent unicorn, she has too much work and an image to uphold, luna can handle villain disposal on her own, right?
