Medic: (Prov Polar Bear self insert)
Field Medic in profession. He is always rolling his own "cigarettes". He keeps a hidden stash of cannabis in his supply kits, the soldiers don't rat him out since his treatments work so well. The uppers let it slide so long as he rolls them some "cigarettes" as well.
Toots: (AJ self insert)
Lowly new recruit, a grunt. She's struggling to adjust to military and camp life. She was convinced (read: forced) to join to help bring more income home.
Her unit is constantly annoyed with her. Slow, cry baby, eats way too much, and worst of all Toots has earned her name. Extremely gassy when stressed or nervous. Because of this she's bullied often and forced to always walk in the back of the unit.
Because she walks in the back of the unit she is often side by side with Medic, this is how they get into regular interactions and discussions about life.
