Announcement

Greetings everyone!

A bit of backstory, For the last few years, I've been using commissions and funding from other sources such as Patreon and Gumroad to help pay rent and food. The number of commissions was decent and the flow of cash was also good. In time, I was hopeful that it would help bring in a surplus amount in time. It had been working well until the last 3-4 months. This was when my commissions started dwindling and inflation started increasing [food is now double what I usually pay]. Even doing YCHs doesn't bring in any new clients to help pay rent month by month. Not only that, I felt myself burning out little by little despite my attempts to mitigate it. It has become increasingly clear that this income won't be sustainable in its current form. So now I felt it was time for me to go back to working a job again.

Yup, back to the workforce. Searching for job applications and such. Only viable option given the situation.

So what does this mean for drawing and working on this side? Well, I'll still be drawing, that hasn't changed. For now, commissions will take some time to do, likely be more sparsely chosen at least until I get used to the new job I would get myself into. Hopefully, this would put decisions into context if I refuse to accept a commission you wanted me to do. It might come to pass that I would no longer do new public commissions. Only time will tell.

For those within Patreon and Subscribestar, I'll be completing the remaining rewards and taking a month to put payments on hold. So existing members will not pay for that month but still have access to the content, including Discord. However, rewards will not be given that month as a result. This will be a good chance to catch up on any that I've missed in both doodles, Patreon-related rewards, and commissions in general. Things should return to normal by the following month.

That's all for now. If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment.
